MYSTERY WOMAN IDENTITY REVEALED!!

And you thought Nick Barclay had lost out on his chance at love. At the end of the Friday episode of Somerset, were you shocked to find Nick's mystery woman interviewing for a job at Martin Enterprises?

The mystery woman, Donna Morgan, gets a chance to be fleshed out thanks to veteran actress AUBREY DOLLAR joining the cast of Somerset. Dollar is playing Donna, a contract role which is now full-time as of Monday's episode.

"It was always our intention for this character to be a regular," Somerset creator Steve Ungrey said. "I specifically didn't include Aubrey in the opening cast because I knew Donna would be making a two-episode appearance and then another quick one the day of Nick's accident, but I knew she'd be off the canvas for about 15 episodes after that. So I didn't want to confuse the viewers. I wanted them to think Nick had lost out before we pulled the big surprise reveal on Friday."

What led Ungrey to consider Dollar for this role?

"Spunky redhead," Ungrey said. "The character description of Donna is a flirtatious, sensuous individual who has a serious side to her. She's a very hard worker but she also has a soft side and a very playful side. There's a reason she calls Nick pet names like 'handsome' and 'hot stuff'. I'm looking forward to writing the storylines with Donna as she integrates with other characters, especially Nick, Jack and the other Somerset residents. As far as I was concerned, I knew I wanted Aubrey for this role the minute I imagined it on the canvas."
