On the other hand, well, I feel like I should point this out...

 

Y&R used to be the very antithesis of this... Even if you look at 1999/2000, most of the stories were character-driven, well-thought out, long-term. You had relationships, people and couples that developed organically and slowly. Nina had a years-long story about writing her first book, confronting her emotions about her baby's kidnapping, and connecting with Tomas, for example. The occasional soapily OTT story like Spermgate or Matt Clarke coming back with a new face. It was wonderful.

 

And, yet, most would say it was "boring" and "too slow." "Nothing happens!" 

 

And, now.... Yes, I'm feeling bitter.

My advice to anyone who hates Pratts crap as much as I do if u want psychological, intelligent, writing made for cable TV and something just by watching it u will feel a little smarter then tune into the new GH by Jelly. Smart TV is found on your rival competitor coming soon yay.
