Lol, I wonder what can be done with all the companies. If they were characters, you could have a hurricane or serial killer rip through Genoa City. So does the new writer just pretend they don't exist, merge them into NE/Jabot, or have a GC market crash or what?

I’m usually against stunts on soaps, but I feel like this show needs a massive natural disaster or fire that kills off a few characters and some of the sets. They can then use that as a launching pad for some new stories and a visual look for the show.

Probably better to do when Y&R finally leaves TV City and finds new studio space, which should hopefully help with the storage and usage of quite a few sets vs. the current setup.

As for the myriad of unnecessary companies? Honestly, I would just pretend they never existed and keep it moving.

This one is the Grand Phoenix Hotel lobby

This one is the "Glam Club" a nightclub run by Noah inside the Grand Phoenix Hotel. Supposedly, after he left Genoa City, he started and ran a similar Glam Club in London.
