With the aging of Rocco, Lulu raised him til he was 11. Then 4 years in said coma. LULU was the only mom Rocco knows. Him wanting to know about his first 7 months, one doesn't need Britt for that. Rocco for the first seven months you ate, slept, crawled and crapped in your huggies.

To this day it would be easy enough to introduce a secret male twin for Sam. Someone who comes to town with a vengeful agenda, like many Cassadines. Or kids of their own.

But I still believe Stavros is Sam's father, so what do I know.

I'd honestly be fine if they retconned the whole Sam is Alexis/Julian's kid thing. I guess someone needs to watch Danny while Steve Burton's on breaks though. Alexis being Sam's mom never bothered me although I don't think it added much to either character's story. Say it was a mistake, move on, and have Alexis search for her real (male) child.

I generally find Mansi to be an appealing presence and think she, NLG, and Vaganos have a warm and realistic family chemistry. But these 3 years of story for Kristina have been a combination of false starts and bad turns. It’s crazy that she will get away with almost killing Ric and Liz (and attempting to kill Ava). The fact that Mansi has the lowest episode count of anyone who’s been on contract for 2026 should’ve been a clue.

Re: Britt/Rocco, I think the story could be effective if the show were using its fundamental Oedipal creepiness to create tension. I actually think both actors are up for it. But the writing at the moment suggests that Britt is a well-meaning yet misunderstood ET to Rocco’s Elliott.

Agree.

Britt has never had a meaningful relationship with Rocco. The writers haven’t even done the bare minimum to explain why he’d feel a connection to her after 15 years. Not even a throwaway line about missing his mom while Lulu was in a coma and just needing a maternal figure or feeling neglected when Lulu returned and focused only on Charlotte. That’s how you tie it all together; not viola, I need a new mommy.

This show doesn’t respect Lulu as a mother at all. She was stripped of autonomy in their conceptions, the kids are brats and now we have to give Britt claps for birthing Rocco. Any dog on the street can do that.

Sam/Alexis have always felt like a low grade version of Bobbie/Carly. Sam has never mattered as a Cassadine. The only time was during the reading of Helena’s will and she damned all of them. One of my favorite scenes ever.

For sure. Carly/Bobbie was the plan all along and you could tell the story had a beginning, middle, and end. The Sam/Alexis stuff felt like it was tacked on later and made no sense with Sam's extremely intense back story. The fact that it took Sam, idk, 6 years to even ask who her father was made it clear the show had no idea yet.

Sam's dead and I doubt Monaco or Sam will be back. Dante's mourned her for an insane period of time for a soap and if you de-Cassadine her Charlotte/Danny won't be related (not that I am advocating this pairing).

The show will never retcon this, but it would be a potential story for Alexis. I am not sure the show is really interested in big story for NLG at this point though.
