First of all, whoever dressed Vivica A Fox in that same the same ugly green 1992 Knots Landing style pantsuit that Melissa Ordway had to wear like a year or two ago needs to be FIRED ASAP.

Different suit from a different costume designer and nah, Mandi Line can stay. She's the one highlight about this soap behind-the-scenes.

That's what happens when budget restraints force you to shop for your actors at Kohl's.

Line has shown where she shops, and it's far from Kohl's.

Let me take a moment to holler at Cane being broke...which he should have been in the first place when he ran into Lily as a WORKER at Dumas.

Well as much as I know it's a rehash of the Damian storyline which was a rehash of the Winter Takeover storyline...I can't say I'm not glad to see Malcolm and Vivica Fox Stephanie. And because it's people I care about, I do feel surprisingly invested. And Malcolm did smile for a second there in spite of the grim storyline.

And I'm really loving all of the Olivia mentions.

Giggly Heffa can go away. I did love when Cane wiped the smirk off her face by mentioning her kids. That works every time on her.

So, Diane is furious with Jack because he was kidnapped and drugged and ended in bed with Patty. No forgiveness on that score even though,as Traci pointed out, she faked her own death.

Nikki splits from Victor over the kidnapping even though he had repeatedly done similar stuff, including having a double take over Jack's life.

Victoria siding with her dad, again even though this is the latest in along line of horrible things her father has done, others of which she had blasted him for.

Just dumb moves to create conflict over horrible plot lines.

If Jack is so outraged at Victor why not go to the police?

Let's be honest: even if Jack were to go to the police, and even if they actually went to the trouble of arresting and convicting Victor, we've been down this road enough times to know Victor wouldn't be in jail for too long before receiving yet another "get out of jail free" card. And once again, TGVN would be back on top.

Exactly-so what is the point of these stories? They make no sense and there is no fallout or consequences.

Will they be still telling this story when Eric is 90?

On the one hand I admire the man for continuing to work at his age, but also wonder why he bothers. Doesn't he have anything else to fill his time? Is he that limited that he needs to be defined by showing up to play an awful character week after week?

So many regimes have tried to send EB to the retirement home and they've failed. EB is not going anywhere until either Y&R is cancelled or he goes to that daytime drama in the sky.

Unfortunately Victor hanging on is the least of the shows problems. Underdeveloping and discarding young adult legacy characters has been the big problem since Bell passed. They should placed more effort into the younger generations and phase out the old guard very gradually.

Nick is kinda a dude of a character when he should be your strong middle-age legacy family anchor. The ratings are solid so tptb won't make the changes but what's going to happen when the older actors start to pass? The whole house of cards comes down.
