T.J. and Molly didn't matter for over 10 years, including for almost the entirety of their mostly offscreen relationship. I think it's dumb when they don't mention him in moments like this, but I also don't ever need him back. Of course I'd also have written Molly out as well. I find Cody and Molly's romance unbearable and I blame her.

The whole story was about the white surrogate’s pain after choosing to be a surrogate that the black character rightfully didn’t trust to carry his child. And then his character was punished and erased for her losing the baby.

GH gets a lot right, but the treatment of the Black cast is eye-rolling at times. We don't need to care about TJ to see how he was erased from the canvas. Or how he barely mattered in a story about his own child.

It's just as annoying to sit through Trina and Kai scenes, two underdeveloped characters who could be more defined if the writers cared.

Portia and Isaiah have me completely lost. I don't know any man who would barely blink that his girlfriend is having another man's baby. I don't think he's reacted even once.

We grew to not care about TJ because this show never cared about TJ.

Kai and Trina have been given pitiful writing.

Isaiah's reaction to Portia's pregnancy is absolutely nuts. There isn't one. He wasn't sad or upset for even 10 seconds. There was no reaction at all. Again, pathetic writing.

It's very difficult to think of a Black character on GH who's been given good writing.

Trina used to be well-defined. Now they're just running out the clock. They could not be more relieved that Spencer is gone and it shows. I hate it, because she should be leading along with Emma and Gio. Period.

The way Portia is handled screams them disliking Brook Kerr. Whereas whatsherface playing RoboJordan must be a sweetheart because they seem to love writing this bland nonsense for her day after day even though she can't act. But Jordan as a character has never once worked for me, even when the great Vinessa Antoine was there. She has always been a sketchy cipher whose only defining trait is getting in way too deep with her undercover marks. First Julian Jerome, now Sidwell. She enjoys it a little too much is all I'm saying!
