I thought we decided months ago that the Bill and Hayley living room set is tacky because it's supposed to represent Hayley's lack of taste.

That set is trash because Hayley is trashy -- not because the set designers are clueless.

The poster who praised the set tonight as better than the GH sets because it's not beige and bland? Come on. I would hope anyone with eyes can find a dozen tacky things on that set. It's a nightmare 😂

The Hamilton living room

Yes it's supposed to be flashy/tacky to represent Hayley.

I've seen many a mansion in magazines that look showy and gaudy but this room just looks cramped and cheap.

The table and chairs crammed up against the bookcase. The styling of the bookcase. The floral arrangement and sconce lights that are always on.That basic artwork. It's pretty bad from all angles. And they didn't include some doors in the room or corridor to suggest other rooms in a supposedly sprawling mansion.

We now know that Hayley is world's worst con woman but surely she would be trying to imitate the Dupree style. And Bill after all these years would know from quality. His office is quite restrained so he obviously knows that flashy isn't the best direction to go in. But I guess he let his darlin' have her way with design.

The flipside is Nicole's house that is supposed to look restrained and elegant but comes off bland.

Yeah, Hayley's house is intentionally the "Graceland" of Fairmont Crest. Most folks who tour Elvis Presley's Graceland walk in and say, "Yikes!!", but others think it's beautiful. Tastes vary.

Too many things are taking place offscreen and it's giving downgraded stories. They need to hire one of those folks from YouTube who are gifted in the use of AI or something. Use a stock image for the exterior and shift some things around with the Garland Memorial set or something...get creative, like it's their job.

Just don't hire the people from DAYS who do that. Their stock images are lazy. There was once an image of NYC used for a Salem set-- you could put the image into "image search" and it's obvious. And DAYS has other examples like that.

Agreed. What was the point bc they cant even tell stories there. They should have delayed its completion and not rushed it until they got a set

I can understand that, but I also suspect TPTB are not rushing to use their budget re-up this go 'round, which I believe is smart. Do I suspect the clinic could pop up at some point? Yes. Do I think it's a necessity? No.

Ok, I've always liked Nicole, and I actually like her single 'getting her groove back' phase. But her holier than thou attitude this week with Kial is annoying. She's playing two men at the same time, and they know it, so why wouldn't you expect them to be jealous of each other. Don't act like a scolding parent to these men.
