I've got to give Wednesday's show props in one other area: all those scenes where Jason was taken to a prison in an undisclosed location where his basic human rights will not apply by shadowy federal agents who sneer at the very notion of due process. This is about as political as a daytime soap can reasonably get in 2026, and I appreciated it.

I was soooo sad to see Marco die, but I'd been suspecting that this was coming. From a story viewpoint, his death makes sense in some ways by the story it will generate. Still...a bummer to see him go.

Overall, these have been some great episodes. NLG continues to knock whatever they give her out of the ballpark.

I appreciated that too. The WSB is basically DHS at this point.

It was said onscreen. Natalia called him Eloi a few times. It wasn't more than a handful scenes, but they established he changed his name to avoid Natalia finding him or something of the sort. He was supposedly a talented singer but wasn't interested in pursuing it. Perhaps AA can't/couldn't sing?

Me!!! Soaps always get good when a character has to leave the canvas.

Again, it says a lot about the writing that momentum picked up just because of an actor needed to not be working.

But it also says a lot about Jason's place on the canvas that so much is happening. Sonny could leave tomorrow and would the canvas really suffer? At this point, probably not.

No worries. Lol. Natalia scenes aren't memorable. There was a lot of dialogue about how Eloi was driven away by his mother by Blaze and the whole thing fizzled out when Marco/Eloi just said he became a lawyer and changed his name to get away from her. It wasn't terribly important for story.
