Anderson Cooper to 60 Minutes?!

From TVGuide.com

The New York Post reports that CNN cover boy Anderson Cooper will moonlight for 60 Minutes in a deal he's currently hammering out with CBS. While reps for neither network would confirm or deny the news, it is said that Cooper would keep his plum gig as host of Anderson Cooper 360. He also would be the CBS newsmagazine's youngest contributor by about 72 years.

This is all good(I can't think of anyone better, but younger, to succeed Mike Wallace). But WHY couldn't CBS have offered to get him out of his CNN Deal to host the Evening News there?! :(

He would be a lot better to look at than Katie Couric. And a lot better news reporter.

This makes me wonder if CBS plans on cleaning house and getting rid of all the oldies at 60 Minutes for the upcoming fall season?! Andy Rooney will not like that. LOL.

Anderson Cooper on the evening news would've been an *inspired* idea. I *LOVE* me some Anderson Cooper. *drools* From everything I've read, we're on the same team. B)

I think it's a good move, and yeah, he's good eye candy, no matter if he plays with Ken or Barbie.
