After streaming today's episode since it was preempted, I get why they burned it off rather than fully preempting it. This week's episodes had the feel of a B&B quick storyline wrap/whiplash - meaning Eric returns to FC because Ridge 'loves him' or whatever nonsense.

If they'd intended on keeping Eric at LOGAN, the secret would've held until Eric's designs debuted at the LOGAN for maximum effect. Instead, Hope, Ridge and Brooke all found out concurrently in a conveniently lazy way: Hope sees the designs on Bill's desk, Bridge see Eric's designs scattered in the living room. Followed by Katie + Liam blurting it out. It's done and it's a shame. I enjoyed all the potential drama of Eric secretly helping Katie.

Thank goodness for Ivy. Electra calling out Will was surprising. Like Will wouldn't be losing his mind if a homeless dude was dancing and showering at Electra's house.

-- I agree about the Eric storyline. Ithink they took (another) wrong turn when they were on the right path.

-- Will is a himbo idiot. So dumb. And although I'm no Electra fan, I don't blame her for feeling as she does about simpering Dylan, who's thanked Will for 485 times for his compassion. Then she hugs him AGAIN. I don't trust her at all.

-- Ridge was insufferable from Monday to Thursday, but Brooke took the cake today in blaming Katie for everything.

Damn, dude is majestic. Can he act?

He hasn't had much to do. Bradley has forgotten he is a gay designer.

All the hoopla, and of course, we get nothing. Typical Bradley Bell.

Is Dylan still working at the Pizza Palace? Or did Will finding her 10 minutes into her first shift end all that 'I'll take any job' nonsense?

So what happened when Donna led $B into the backroom when they were dismissed by Katie/Brooke? lol

@Soapsuds Unless I missed it, I don't think Katie even mentioned Deke as a possibility when she and $B were lamenting Eric's situation. Yet another clue that LOGAN is being shuttered + Deke will probably go the way of Remy.

It's a meh week so far for me. It just goes back to what I said a few weeks ago. When the show shifted off to other stories that was not mostly Forresters, the show shifted off to better stories that held me. Heck, they have multiple stories going on again. But I knew it would steer back to the Forrester cuz there needed to be some build-up to the upcoming fashion show.

But already off to a bumpy start. Because I've seen it all before. Oh, no Ridge feels a way about Eric when HE'S the one who pushed him out! Oh, no Eric's health is acting up again! RME. Outside of seeing more Donna and the interludes with Bill and Katie...even if it is repetitive dialogue...I could care less. At least with the Eric/Donna scenes, it allowed for a POV for Eric. But it's just same old same old.

When the highlight of the episodes (so far) is just seeing a different set in Bill's office and an updated opening (add me on for seeing a goateed Deke in the opening and did they add Dylan, too?) your week is already off to a baaaad start.

Actually...lol.

When Katie and Bill was looking for a designer, I had hoped they were leading to Deke. Since it seem like it was going that way story-wise. When Katie started to have scenes with Eric, I was wondering if he might come in to mentor with Deke.

So I felt a way about Deke being declared too green to even try him out that way while Eric snatched his storyline. Katie did however continue to mention him re: Deke as a designer, but too green in dialogue with Bill a little bit after that. Almost as a way to soften the blow to us watching who was hoping.

B&B, I don't know what to say. I've watched from the beginning as a teenager and what I find so insane, Brad Bell has been headwriter for like 30 years and he conveniently forgets major story points he created that could take the show into so many different exciting directions.

I know the majority of the time I watch out of habit and the episodes are only 19 minutes, sans commercials. There are episodes that fully pull me in and then others are head scratches. Honestly, I want the younger generation to be featured more (Will, Electra, RJ, Dylan, Deke). They have a good group and they need to garner interest for new fans and maintaining the audience they have.

Oh btw, I have never despised Ridge & Brooke more than I have this week. I am enjoying the Spencer's gain more prominence story-wise but I don't want Brad Bell to screw up 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾

Same. I feel my current interest started when Brad shifted the focus to them for a couple of weeks. And then? He keep balancing them with the Forresters. And also...the stories with them are not too stagnant.
