Change of plans! Honestly this is a way to extend her life on this show. She decides she wants more than money but rather the power and respect and actually listens to Joey and works with him to help get Bill elected so she becomes First Lady of FC. That has so much more potential for mess especially if people look into her past. Id love to see how she does damage control and cleans up her image

Basically. I have no problem with harsh critique of this show, since I have some of my own lol. And get some in my texts everyday from a certain friend! But it's axe-grinding for other reasons (or that one fanfic guy) I don't have much patience for.

Take one example: When Soapsuds doesn't like a show for whatever reason, and decides other people are putting on pretentious airs for watching something he doesn't like, he spends his time plastering the threads with comments replying to virtually every post or thread about it that seem bent on shaming people for even watching or finding merit in it. This is not the first show where he's done this, it's been an issue on the forum long before BTG existed. Then there's the occasional handful of posters who will semi-regularly make these grand pronouncements in these threads about how BTG threads can't handle legitimate criticism, while the show gets regular heat daily in here. Like, c'mon. This is not that serious. If you have valid complaints I am here for it. But if you're here because of the above, or because you want to free the one white guy on the show you've been publicly obsessing over for years from Martin, I am going to side-eye. I just don't have time for that in the mid-2020s. We got enough to deal with. Happy holidays, y'all.

You, in particular, act like the gatekeeper of this thread. But as you say, it's not that serious.

I had some good exchanges with other posters in this thread who may not agree with my POV, but respected it. So maybe one of my resolutions will be to give BTG another chance, so you can be spared any more "grand pronouncements." Up until yesterday, I kept my thoughts to myself because I don't want to bring down the thread. But now, I'll let you know in real time just what I think.

• God, are the writers obsessed with Dani & Andre or what? I feel they're on non-stop. And all they do is have mind-blowing sex.

• I'm enjoying Anita's storyline but her heavy make-up during the biopsy took me out of the scene. I don't see the problem in ridding Anita of that drag queen makeup and horrendous wig.

• I don't think Anita hiding her exams from Vernon was a soap cliché. That's what most sensible family members do.
