I'm not sure TPTB see the same problems we do. While I agree the writing is the biggest problem, I think more experienced actors would have the ability to find some nuance in these roles.

Her name isn't even Hayley???

And here I thought New Girl was someone who Hayley might have actually schemed against. But they were co-partners? Hmmm intriguing.

Good to see we are about to get our second Anita story. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but happy to see Anita is getting the spotlight.

As for the Joey news...does this mean we are setting up for Joey's exit or his next beat in the step of this show having a villain?

Other than that, I found this episode boring actually.

I actually like that most of the cast are unknowns. I’ve really enjoyed being exposed to quite a bit of them and they don’t have the baggage of former characters weighing them down.

Tomas should’ve been recast after his first episode though.

Honestly, Tomas can just go at this point. He seems to serve little to no purpose at this point and Kat's story would be fine without him.

As for the rest of the cast, they are fine. The weaker ones have improved and Andre doesn't annoy me as much with his acting.

Now, the other issues, I hope they start sorting those out with the new season.
