The timeline’s a mess. When Chad saw Cat on video in 2024, she was supposedly in the same facility as John Black—since they rescued both at once. That’s likely why Clyde got name-dropped during the Thomas conversation. And EJ and Cat lived in the Dimera mansion together for months with little to no interaction.

But EJ returned in June 2021. 

So how long was Cat recovering from her accident and surgery?

And, when was she supposed to have joined the ISA? It is getting a little confusing now. There's too many plot holes.

And if Chad first recognized Cat as Abigail.  Why did Sami think she looked familiar as Cat today, rather than Abigail, who she knew most of her life?

For example, if Sami had said that Cat looks like the little hussy who tried to sleep with her husband EJ back in the day, that would've made sense. 😉

Unless, and this will be very silly, we're supposed to believe that's how Cat looked before surgery, and she just looks prettier now?

They really should have just had ALM be the real Abigail from the very beginning.

But, since she's not, it seems so unwise to revisit her origin story in order to generate a romance with EJ, when I don't think it needed this much backstory for them to smooch.

Chad didn’t recognize her as Abby he was just told Abby was alive and believed she was her with plastic surgery

I enjoyed Sami's return, and the episode actually kept my interest. I enjoyed the flashbacks during Julie and Maggie's chat.

A lot of returns today!

Welcome back Will, Eric, Eli and Lani!

It was great seeing everybody catch up with each other and, in some ways, get involved in the ongoing storylines. I liked how everyone came together for Johnny and Chanel's baby shower, and reunited with each other. It's too bad that Sonny and Nicole couldn't be there lol but he and Will and she and Eric are happy, and that's the most important thing, if we can't get them on the canvas full time lol 

There were a lot of nice family moments today, especially Sami and Johnny, even though I'm glad that Johnny is refusing to forgive EJ. Their feud really needs to be a bigger part of the show though. And I still say that Johnny should be the one trying to expose whatever EJ is doing at the hospital. His final scene with Chanel and the baby was really sweet too.

I also enjoyed Sami catching up with Marlena and Will and even Rafe lol as much as I don't want them together, I do somewhat enjoy them as divorced friends. Marlena and Will's opposing viewpoints about Sami's engagement were interesting as well. According to Will, Dante's a good guy 😂 I really hope Sami isn't rushing into anything though.

I also like how Will was there for Marlena, and that whatever she's going through hasn't been dropped. It's too bad that he can't have a bigger part in her storyline though. I've always loved their relationship. Btw, I was very, very glad that Will and Leo were in the same place at the same time and did not have scenes together 😂😂

The flashbacks were ok. I liked seeing them but maybe they weren't necessary today.

I didn't expect Eli to be a part of Rafe and Cat's assignment and I don't mind it. He adds another dynamic to it, and could make it a lot more interesting. 

As for Abe, Lani and Paulina, while I enjoyed their scenes, I still feel like they're trying to make Abe the bad guy in this Theo working at Dimera storyline, and I still don't think that it's going to work. I'm interested in seeing how this is all going to play out, and if it's going to be tied to Abe mentoring Liam somehow.

Only if they recast the role, but honestly, it has been nice having Leo around under this regime's pen. They have mellowed him out and made him much less of a [dated] stereotype.

 How hot did Chandler Massey look? Damn! He looked good in those jeans. 

I really enjoyed Will, Eric, Eli, and Lani's return. I've always loved Lani and the actress in the role. I enjoyed Will and Eric's catching up scenes. Will's scenes with Sami and Marlena were also nice to see, especially Will's look of worry for Marlena.
