Time has gone by and I really enjoy the new design. All the active threads are right in front of me... just a click away. It's much easier to see what's going on in the forum compared to before.

When you first brought it up, I thought you were talking about something completely different. Didn't realize you meant the banners themselves were too big (the font size). Glad my recent adjustments were more in line with what you were actually referring to; I had been looking into how to make the images smaller, which would require a lot of CSS/coding. Phew, saves me so much more time.

I prefer the new rectangular new section icons, too. Besides being too big, the rounded ones had "OTL" for "off-topic lounge", and for a split second each day, I would think I saw "OLTL" , and then realize it was "OTL". I was going to suggest, that if you must have initials, then use "O/T" instead of "OTL". But the new blue rectangular icons with words as titles are much much better.

LOL I think the same thing - my mind always goes to OLTL. 😂. But looks like it's changed now! I love the look, @Errol !
