Especially since Alex isn’t a serial killer that is pushed as a hero and if you call out he’s a serial killer you’re yelled at by his psycho wife.

Same here.

If it were up to me, Ben would've been killed off already 😂

And bring Ciara back to Salem with the kids, and put her in Theo's habit again.

And just as an added 🖕, have Ciara realize the stigma that her kids have to live with, and to protect them, changes their last name to Brady 😂😂

SIGN ME UP!! You could even say Bo got to her. She was always a daddy’s girl anyway.

At least when they were living on a boat with small kids, there was an easy way to knock 'em off.  But, upon the latest update, aren't Bo and Hope sailing Fancy Face (II?)

For sanity’s sake, I imagine Hope and Ciara are not sharing a small living space like a boat.  So, I wonder where Ben, Ciara and their brood are living?  I keep writing "brood" and "small kids" because I refuse to look up how many babies they've had together.

Also, was that actress cast someplace else recently?

Ben and Ciara have their own boat, 'Living in Cin' 🤮🤮

I honestly thought you were teasing

Does this mean, in their own universe, Ciara and Ben are aware of their fandom's portmanteau?

That would be like if Bo woke up from his coma while Hope played a remix of "Holding Out for Hero" on her phone.  It's a little too self-aware.

-- The Sarah/Xander scenes were powerful, but I'm honestly disgusted that they're breaking up AGAIN. I don't understand putting them back together for such a short period only to do this. I hate the way they're writing this couple's long story.

-- The Anastasia Sands stuff is pathetic. Why would anyone care that this milquetoast heroine wrote a "racy" novel? Along with the bookstore and watching patrons paging through books, it feels like these writers think it's 1985, not 2025.

-- The "Who gets Tesoro?" storyline makes adoption policy even worse than we all thought it is. None of these people think lawyers, the law, authorities, or anything else matters.

RSW should have been fired a long time ago. His character serves zero purpose and just plain sucks. Add to that RSW can't act.

Since the headwriter change, DAYS has been boring the last couple of months. However, things are starting to gel and take shape. I can see where things are moving and I'm intrigued.

Sarah's response to Xander's confession truly pissed me off. I was excited they were finally going to accept one another, faults and all.

I'm looking forward to November sweeps in Salem.

I agree that November looks fun.

But, isn't it ironic they are still beholden to old traditions like Sweeps, which obviously are not a concern given that they stream on Peacock, and Nielson (who ran the sweep weeks) doesn't track their ratings?

It is another example of how they haven't adapted to their new structure, and modernized.

Where's the evidence they're still beholden to sweeps? It just feels like whenever there's a lull in story, someone says "They're getting ready for sweeps."  DAYS in particular seems to have no reason to care about a sweeps period.

I agree, sweeps are a thing of the past and November is more likely something to look forward to because of the anniversary and the upcoming clinic opening.

But, they still seem to correlate story payoffs with old sweeps timing, such as Johnny's trial in August.  It is hard to say if it is purposeful, but it still feels as if they are upholding the tradition of seasonal big events, every eight to ten weeks, as if they write for sweeps.  And while that is true of most soaps, DAYS has the freedom to stagger things a bit and really surprise us.

I stand by what I said before: Johnny should be the one investigating what EJ is doing at the hospital, not Leo 🤮🤮

EJ forcing Gwen to make nice with Leo to throw him off track seems forced, pointless and unnecessary. There's no reason for it. The conflict would be much, much better and more watchable if father and son were continued to be pitted against each other. The drama that you could get from that could play out for years. And if EJ's scenes with Gwen today were meant to be a chem test, I don't think it worked very well lol he actually does have more chemistry with Cat. And especially with Stephanie.

I'm curious to see if the fact that Tony is apparently missing is going to mean something though.

The Kiriakis family storylines were the best part of today. Maggie didn't pull any punches with Xander today. And neither did he actually. Even though I'm still a little surprised that Maggie became this anti-Xander after being his champion for so long, I do like seeing the two of them at odds. It opens a lot of potential for future storylines. And they work well together regardless of if they're friends or enemies. Xander did look good too. His shirt is something that I would wear.

I also enjoyed Philip going head to head with Sarah, and that he was the one who got Maggie to come around about Xander. He's another character that's gotten improved writing this year, despite the stupid faces he makes lol and I liked Sarah had Brady to confide in. I'm interested in seeing what's going to happen for them... until Xander and Sarah inevitably reunite.

Melissa Reeves 40th anniversary episode was extremely well done. I’m so happy she’s been more willing to film a lot more lately. And you can see why Jack and Jen were such a popular couple in their heyday, Melissa and Matt had excellent chemistry all those years ago. Also always fun to see when the show had a budget.
