Agree, but disagree. On the surface, you are correct. But, considering the Stephanie character has passed on, and Eric has remarried two other women since, with Donna being his latest, it makes absolute sense that Eric himself would be there.

I understand your point. But... From my perspective, why would Eric care about Donna's opinion? Donna is only around when the honey jar and Viagra are present. She's essentially a medium to high-level escort. I don't even want to discuss the other "wife". Stephanie should have never been replaced. That spot was meant for her, and it was in poor taste to change it. It could have served as a lasting reminder of her presence... But now we only see Eric's narcissism with his own portrait on display. 

When Stephanie was up there... the portrait honored the woman whose wealth and influence launched Eric's career. She was the essence of Forrester Creations. Without Stephanie and her father's financial support and connections, Eric would have remained just a struggling artist. This was her house, where she raised four children. That's where she spend her entire grown life. It was her home. Therefore, I still believe they should not have replaced it. It was an iconic thing, a place where characters could even go to have emotional moments... Remember when Brooke got drunk and spoke to Stephanie's portrait? That moment was truly memorable, because it was Stephanie up there.

But I also think that a narcissist who broke that woman's heart so many times... would like seeing himself up there sooner or later. So the logic is there.

I just don't like it. ❤️

Her portrait belongs at Forrester Creations. Stephanie is the GOAT of B&B but at best she's Eric's 3rd favorite wife.

You've got to be kidding me. She (Stephanie) had nearly 30 years of history with the man before the show even began. When a marriage is 20-30 years long... it's considered AN EXTREMELY successful marriage. Tell me does Eric have a longer marriage with ANY other of these women? That's a rhetorical question - he does not.

Brooke was just a younger woman/mid-life crisis... (who f-cked his son while married to him), Sheila was a psycho who stalked him... Quinn - a dollar store version of Sheila... and... Donna is his erectile disfunction medication. Please explain to me how Stephanie, the woman who defined this man's entire life is his 3rd favorite wife. There is a reason he always came BACK to her during the entire show while she was alive. And yeah... we know he craved younger women for sex after a certain point, but that doesn't mean we can erase history. 

Also... Stephanie's portrait should be in the house she raised her children in.
