Happy for Sally, she has certainly put in the time but until JG is gone this show will continue to limp along.

As long as JG is head writer it doesn’t matter who is leading the show. Business stories across three sets will still be the norm.

I'm happy to hear this because Sally should have been promoted to this position a decade ago, at least. She is the one of the few left who knew the real Y&R.

I'm very happy for her. But I agree with others...as long as JG is there (and now he's about to do a noir storyline based off something else. How...original in my Miranda Priestly voice)...I don't see the show bouncing back to anything good.

Pretty sure the buzz was that Sally McDonald was defacto/acting EP during MAB’s last year/year and a half.

That last year/year and a half was not half bad, but it was also kind of torture, IIRC.
