I think this says that you can subscribe to hulu separately from disney+.  It seems that (for now) it will just be *the apps* that are combined, but you can pay/subscribe separately if you want?  Not sure if I'm reading it right.

So, they're phasing out Hulu, but you'll still be able to purchase a stand-alone Hulu subscription?  Please make that make sense for me, lol.

I *think* it says they're phasing out the hulu app, but not phasing out hulu itself?

I don't use apps, because I'm visually limited and it's too hard for me to watch on a phone.  I watch streaming shows on my desktop PC, so I don't think this would affect me, but I'm not sure?

This must be one of those "the cat is on the roof" situations.  Disney doesn't want Hulu subscribers to freak out over Hulu going bye-bye forever all at once, so they're easing them into the transition instead.

I read they're going to merge both apps and make it one app with the Disney plus app

Which is the less superior one, Hulu's interface is far superior

I don't do apps so not bothered by that...now my system on the other hand...I don't get it. So no more Hulu on my tv or is it Hulu with Disney stuff...or is it Disney with Hulu's stuff?

Goodbye, Hulu! Hello, D'Hulu+!

I much prefer the Hulu design, so I will be sad to see it go. Even with Hulu being a tab in Disney+, I still use their separate app.

Offering a separate Hulu subscription doesn't necessarily confuse or surprise me. It's perhaps a little sloppy, but they already offer separate subscriptions and packages. If you don't want Hulu, it'll probably be a locked tab in the Disney app.
