I wouldn't have recast the role.  Especially to be stuck with horrible Leo and having nothing else to do.

We're never gonna be rid of that son of a bitch, aren't we?

I had never seen Brilliant Minds before, and I decided to scan through season 1 due to Al Calderon joining the show. I was surprised to see a gay couple on the show with Teddy Sears from OLTL as one of the gay characters. What a nice treat!

Oh? Cute. My co-worker just mentioned it to me and now I'm curious.

After seeing last week's ratings, I wonder if Al should have stayed at Days. I don't see Brilliant Minds lasting past this season with those ratings.

It might be better off airing Fridays at 8:00 p.m., if NBC can make the budget cost-effective.

The premiere on Monday, September 22 at 10:00 p.m. averaged just 2.3 million viewers, while a repeat aired on Friday, September 26 averaged 1.426 million. Not bad at all for a repeat. If new episodes can pull what it did on Mondays, but on a Friday, that wouldn't be considered a bad thing to NBC, especially if the Peacock numbers can be juiced.

Outside of Law & Order: Organized Crime, which is now a Peacock original series and has already released all the episodes set to air on NBC this fall, and averaged 2.218 million viewers last week, only Dateline had fewer viewers on NBC than Brilliant Minds. Dateline did just 2.194 million on Friday, September 26, at 10:00 p.m.

Another 2.3 million viewers for the second episode. The demo slightly down to a 0.15.
