Some of us think it may be happening. And, I completely & totally disagree that Frank or Disney thinks he has to stay on. To my way of thinking they are poised, ready to throw the retirement party as soon as he mumbles yes instead of maybe.

When he asked them to take State of Mind & put it on the network I think if they'd said yes, he'd have retired within 18 months of that yes. Of course I also see why they said no, even though as a fan of the show but NOT THE CHARACTER  I'm for anything that moves him off. So, darn.

Lol!  I was just thinking today that Vaughn looks a little old for Joss, but whatever.  She's an adult and had has serious relationships before.  It's better than Emma flirting with Professor Y&R.

As far as Vaughn's acting, I haven't noticed it being bad and he's obviously a very attractive man.

So I see Lulu got her lick back.

I may hate that storyline, but it's nothing against the actor. I don't think he is too old and he can act. He actually (don't hate me) reminds me of REAL Vaughn from ALIAS every time I see him. Which actually makes me dislike the storyline more.

Count me in as another person who can't stand Laura. They writers have made her into a pretzel that defends all the bozos in town. I thought the character was hard to take when she defended Esme and then Heather, but the Sonny worship is so OTT.

Brook Lynn vs. Lulu is a good rivalry. Both can be annoying, especially Lulu, but I appreciate the back and forth and slaps!

Sasha needs to be retooled. She is such a Mary Sue, and I'll never buy that a supermodel wants to be a cook. Or that she's Robert and Holly's love child.

Emma is a great recast. So much rooting value there. She's one of the few likable female characters on the show, IMO.

The actor is 36, so he probably is too old, but I don't really care that much about the story so I don't really care that much about the age lol.

Yup. And I love that they're both messy.

Although, I wish Dante seemed more torn between the two. He feels....just there. I'm not sure what I'd have him doing, but his character is so reactive. I'm more intrigued by who Tracy sides with now that Brooke Lynn is getting her lick back.

I may have hated originally the writers going this route since I was for Sam/Dante/Lulu once Lulu woke up which would have given Dante so much more to do. BLQ had been off in her own stories, and it felt very 'circle in a square peg' but I can't fault the writers for remembering that Lulu vs BLQ has quite a history and good to see it being used for maximum drama. I'm not caught up yet, but I do look forward to seeing how I feel seeing BLQ getting her hands dirty...something she would totally do back in the day. Both girls are scrappers so it's an even playing field. I do agree that Dante has felt...there...outside of the rift between him and Chase which has been a solid friendship for both that has played out on screen for years.

Same. I can't wait for Tracy to know everything, too. I expect great Tracy/BLQ scenes.

Totally understand. And...he looks younger than his age by a half-decade so good genes.

I saw a clip of Lulu confronting Jason over his praising Britt to Rocco. It was another example of the subtle shift toward Jason being more of an equal to other characters instead of the word of the big G (Guza), even though I know we were meant to side with his version of Britt more than Lulu's.

They've managed to keep Brook Lynn vs Lulu more balanced than I thought they could, although I'm not sure how much further the rivalry can go unless Brook Lynn falls in love with Dante.

(Dante at times seems like an afterthought)

Living for Lulu and BrookLynn's feud.

Alexa Havins' performance is doing a great job of pulling me into this show.

Some of the show's honks are aging.

Josh Kelly still looks good. I might like him with Ava.

So the baby ends up taken anyway?

    • So Pam didn't create her? I thought she had the whole of 87-88. I'll look around, thanks for the point in the right direction.

date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 | Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Samantha, accept the fact you were in the wrong and do not deserve your digital devices. Do not like it? Go upstairs. Read a book. Do some knitting. Bradley and Martin's "we get it" to Tyrell was hilarious and absolutely a parent's thing to do. Loving a bit of history of both the Duprees (via Eva) and the Hawthrones (via Izaiah). So cute. Poor June. I am sure she did not purposefully mean to mess up; we have all been there working in customer service. Shake it off and keep on keeping on! Not twice a week for Vernon's cobbler order... Sharon must be using that as payment for their meetings. I appreciate that Ted still cares about the Duprees despite the end of his marriage to Nicole. Not Dana using Peaches' crisis as a way of taking Ted's attention away from a co-worker. Girl, do not be so obvious. Bradley is a man after my own heart with a simply divine chocolate milkshake. That is the way to go. Dana really needs to dial it back. Money will not buy her everything she wants and she will realise it soon enough. And I doubt Shanice is scared off by her idle threats, either. "With all due respect, Ms Thomas, this isn't a shopping mall." Oh, Dr Wilkes just owned Dana's arrogant ass. I love it. Wigs and personas? Okay now, Shanice ate with that read. I like that June assured Bradley that she will not replace him or Martin in the twins' lives. And that blood does not make a parent. Words never rang more true. Jessica reading Samantha was amazing. Dana would want to involve Ted. Her obsession is crossing beyond dangerous boundaries. Not Dana catching Vernon leaving Sharon's room at the country club. That is not good. Not good at all! Notes: Ugh. Not another breakdown from writer2. This week was going so well. Thankfully, Paige is an outstanding scriptwriter (one of this soap's best), and her words today are excellent. The food at Orphey Gene's does look bomb, so I do not blame any of the characters for uptalking it. I would eat there daily if I could. And gain hundreds of pounds, too. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) continues to make me sick watching him, but he is nice to listen to. I still really like having June as the central person hub at Orphey Gene's. That familiar face you see when you walk in and have scenes. Dana wanting a second opinion means we could have an incoming doctor, right...?

    • I am sure "no one cares" and it's not a big deal to some people, but this thread is full of certain posters calling out women's ages, their viability to have children at like 35, and their nail polish, but we celebrate everything Chandler Massey does and applaud any male shirtless scenes.  And then posters walk back being like it's just a joke and weren't serious lol.
    • I'm so glad she's still on the show. Seems like she may have dropped a hint about the real source of conflict between her and Dee, too.
    • I don't know how reliable the information is, but from what I've read, he joined GH in 1977, and Alan (who started airing in September 1977) was one of his creations. That should have been enough time to get the show in better shape by the January 1978 episode we saw, but then again, shifting from a 30 minute to a 60 minute format is a big transition, one that requires a lot of filler scenes like Monica having a long flashback to a scene that must have only played out a few weeks earlier.
    • I agree. She said, "I do," and then decided, "I don't." I wish Nikki Abbott had been a longer duration. I wholly prefer Nikki with Jack than I ever have with Victor, and today's episode proved that. And I never minded Ashley with Victor.
    • That one really bothered me. The chemistry was still very much there and then she married Jack and immediately ran off to find Victor. It was such a slap in the face to anyone that was a fan of the pairing.
