I haven't heard anything, but I thought it was obvious the show was going that route when EJ asked Eric if there was trouble in paradise and then Eric was very vague about Nicole's absence to everyone else.

I assume it's to free up Eric and use Greg more.  I liked Nicole and Eric's happy ending, but since I doubt Ari will come back anytime soon, if ever, I understand.

I do not recall a Brady/Sarah connection, but I do remember the Eric/Sarah relationship (formed when she turned to him for comfort following the Rex B.S.), so... yeah. She likes those brothers; she keeps it "in the family", which for this soap is tradition. 🤣

I am sure you are right.  I remember the Eric/Sarah relationship, but for some reason I thought she may have flirted or went on a date with Brady.   I get Eric/Brady stories confused all the time in my head though so don't mind me.

She had a kid with Eric who died. But Eric always treated her like second choice to Nicole and so when Nicole returned Sarah hid the pregnancy from him.  After she found out Xander swapped the babies she tried to sleep with Brady as payback, but Brady couldn't 'rise to the occasion' cause he was in love with Kristen, and Sarah was not into it either because she still loved Xander.

She has not tried Philip yet though.

No.  I know that.  Some of the Eric/Brady/Nicole stories blend together for me mostly.  I always forget who dated who when, why they broke up, etc, etc.

But I didn’t hear any rumors about Greg Vaughan coming back full time, so I just paid it no mind.

I vaguely remember something, but I don’t remember when it was.

I think they spent a night together, but they didn’t have sex. Or something like that.

Well, to be fair, Macdonald Carey/Tom wouldn't have sounded that way when Hope was a little girl,...  That's voice and gravitas of an old man

So I looked for some older work of Macdonald Carey to find out what he sounded like as a "young man." I found "Where You Loved Me" from 1955, when he was in his early 40s (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iJz5cT6VgQ). When I quickly looked for Carey speaking, I found him (and this other guy, talking to each other) starting around 3:40. To me, Carey's 1955 voice sounds similar to his DOOL intro voice. Therefore, I think it would have been appropriate and doable to find a guy with a deeper voice to play Young Tom than the guy who actually did. Maybe I'm in the minority, but that's what I think.😀  

 

Anyone find it interesting how the show keeps playing up Sarah/Rachel bond, considering Sarah thought Rachel was hers when she was born.

Welcome back, Tony!

It was nice seeing him reunite with EJ. And with Rita too lol Tony and EJ seem to work very well together. And Tony being clued in on Johnny "being" EJ's shooter could add another pretty good dynamic to this storyline. And since

RSW spoiled that Alex was going to have scenes with Tony coming up, I'm also looking forward to seeing him go head to head with the Kiriakises' as well.

And, we finally saw JJ again! It's been a while lol I was beginning to think that the new writers had lost interest in the character. I enjoyed the family bonding today with the Deveraux's but I don't know if I agree with Jennifer so suddenly being the meddlesome mother. She had a lot of good points, both with JJ and about Chad, but it all just seemed to come out of nowhere. Has she ever really been like this, before the last couple of years? I'm sad to see her and Jack go though. Just like Bo and Hope, there's still a place for them on the canvas. 

I liked the Chad/Gabi scenes too, but I would much rather he had spoken about whatever is happening between him and Cat with Will, or another close friend, rather than Gabi.

As for Cat being a former ISA analyst, I'm not a fan. Besides, if Days wants to have an ISA person on the canvas full time, we all know who it should be 😉

The thing that annoyed me the most about her scenes today was her telling Shane that she was afraid that she was going to end up like John. It was totally uncalled for and honestly, this bitch had no right to say anything about John. I'm glad that Shane shut her down.

I can't help but wonder if this was in Ron's original plan, or if this is a brand new story from Paula/Jeanne. 

A solid episode, just wish Anna could have been seen with Tony saying she had plans with Carrie and actually seeing them both have scenes together. Seems impossible for Anna and Carrie to ever actually speak and have scenes, just odd.

 

Was good to see Tony back and hope he stays for a bit this time. Was kind of funny that both Chad and EJ had better things to do then to worry about "fathas" legacy.

Glad Jack and Jennifer finally had scenes with JJ and Thomas. 

Could care less about Cat and her ISA analyst background. Eyeroll inserted. At least Shane is being used.
