It is absolutely shocking to me that B&B is doing as well as it is in the ratings. Yes, I still watch daily but these numbers are so much better than they should be IMO.

BTG, is still new and their ratings aren't terrible but I want them higher. The promotional push needs to continue full throttle to keep the show in people's minds.

GH, these ratings are embarrassing and if ABC doesn't wake up soon, the ratings will drop even further. My fear is they've alienated too many fans to get them back. ABC's lineup is in shambles.

Y&R also needs a revamp. JG needs to go and if B&B stays ahead of them, I think JG will be gone sooner than later.

I agree with you about B&B's ratings. I do not understand it.

If viewers are punishing GH by not watching, why isn't that happening with BOLD? Why is the reverse happening? With all its problems, GH is a MUCH better soap than B&B on every level. None of this makes sense.

Worst of all, there's no impetus for Brad Bell to change anything. He can look at these ratings, smile, and continue to give us absolute crap.

Bold is so bad that people love to hate watch it. Bradley Bell trolls the audience, angers them constantly and doesn't care about negative attention. That's one of the reasons people can't stop watching. Hate-watching is very popular these days and there are entire groups in facebook and reddit dedicated to it.

Also... the show has very minimal requirements of engagement. You don't even need to follow 1 week to another to know what is going on. Dialogue is repeated in every episode... Characters are like cartoons and everyone is either GOOD and MORALLY PERFECT or A BITCH AND A SLUT.  Dimensions, dept and character development have left the building long time ago.

And you have to have below 10 IQ to not understand what is happening. It's like a tik tok video, but only trashier, longer and with some resemblance to a soap opera.

Add to this the fact that it's half hour. And you get why this show will be the last one standing. It will be Cher, the cockroaches and Bradley Bell's Bold and The Beautiful after the end of the world.

Bold's demos probably went up due to the fashion show and Liam's brain tumor storyline.

BTG has good episodes, but nothing significant has happened. Their ratings won't increase until that occurs.

GH demos are alarming. The writers are going in circles with their stories. The worst-kept secret about Gio hasn't been exposed. Sonny and Kristina are still walking around free. No one has put a stop to Drew.

The dailies are just BAD. Series low BAD. The weekly average was piss poor, but was lifted up by Monday, April 21 and Monday alone, despite airing just 53 minutes of content (apparently there was a 7 minute interruption).

I should note that Tuesday, April 22 was within the show's usual range, albeit on the lower side, but the rest of the week? OMG! Even worse than The Talk BAD!

I'm not joking here. Someone, anyone, has to be FIRED for the Wednesday through Friday episodes. NO excuse!

There was no preemption, just a 7-minute interruption, and it was a VERY good day for the show ratings-wise. That's why I'm so confused.

Forgot to add. Initially, ratings are based on the time slot before they are later corrected and factor in the show that aired in said time slot, hence the 7-minute interruption for GH on Monday, April 21, with the show airing just 53 minutes of content. So, based on Nielsen's interpretation, the numbers are exclusive to people tuning into GH and seeing GH on their screens.

    • It's doubly a shame because one thing Long excelled at was using backstory to enhance the present story. I think that's one reason why Josh and Reva took off the way they did--the early stuff is really good. (Unfortunately, they ruined it by overusing the characters). Imagine if Roger returned to get involved with Alex, and her brother and ex, who used to be dire enemies, came together to oppose him. Instead, Mike was nowhere to be seen and Alan was written out for years. Yes, casting would have been an issue, but when you think about what they wound up with for 15 years...
    • I've never been so annoyed to be running late. lol   EVERYONE looks so pretty.   Happy to see Andre and Eva interacting, Mona being there, and happy to see Nicole play matchmaker for Dani. Fingers crossed that FOINE doctor from Nicole's last event pops up.   @kalbir Andre looking like a snack in that tux.

      Lmao!!!!
    • Also gotta feel sorry for Mona, realizing today was that she’s only known Leslie for a few months; she’s going to blame herself for all of this.
    • The way this show handled Nikolas' shooting Hayden, Austin's murder, the long slow delay to getting rid of Cyrus, etc. we're likely to have it revealed in a year when Nina is 3 weeks away from leaving and has had minimal airtime.
    • Interesting. I love my Roku.  No, I don't know. Who? I mean Disney def does. I would think a number of parties have stocks.
    • Is he still spamming demands that they hire the campy chick from The Haves and Have Nots? Or whichever show it was. I don't think it's an either/or. I happen to think Dana, Dani, Eva, Nicole, Kat, etc. are all great. Certain folks aren't going to be some posters' favorites and that's fair enough. But I would argue most of those characters above (and several others) have caught on with a lot of the online audience. I've even warmed up to Martin!
    • We get it, you don't like this show or the actors. You've said that over and over again, Mr. Vanguard America/VDARE.
    • Lol at the WSB hot guy asking Joss if she was okay with betraying her friends.  Of course she is! Chase coming in hot at Dante was a choice. It's also quite hypocritical since Chase is lying to him about Dante's own child and making Lulu the bad guy.  Talk to the grown woman yourself Chase.  Don't make Dante do it. Lulu and Laura had some great scenes. The Rocco/Danny party is obvious an anvil for something happening and probably the Gio secret coming out. The Willow/Drew/Nina scenes were kind of anti-climatic?  I get why Nina chose this path as the way to get rid of Drew, but will anyone ever find out Drew was sleeping with Nina?
