I'm wondering if the writers are going to un-do their gayness. Tessa has been flirting like crazy with Daniel, and it's a pretty good guess that Mariah may have had sex with a man and might even be pregnant.  Could the network be pressuring the show to make them bi, or maybe even straight?  I know there is political pressure on all kinds of major companies to down-play gay stuff these days.  I hope this isn't the plan for Mariah and Tessa, but frankly it wouldn't surprise me.

She first filmed with Christel Khalil, Bryton, and Sean Dominic.
In her third episode back, she worked with Michelle Stafford.
Morgan will also be sharing scenes with Melissa Ordway. “Amanda thinks, ‘I might as well bump into Abby and make her uncomfortable,’ ” muses Morgan. “She does her rounds a little bit.”

LOL Mishael mentions encountering people in real life who were guests a family event, who told her various speculations about why Amanda is returning, including a speculation that Amanda is connected to Aristotle Dumas.  But in this article, she didn't confirm/deny any of the speculations.
