She's also been raped by multiple people. Sami needs therapy. The show refuses to deal with this issue for her, and until they do it, I have no reason to tune in" I posted that, but I never thought it would happen... And now I am stunned to read this: https://www.tvinsider.com/1184983/days-of-our-lives-sami-brady-return-2025-alison-sweeney-interview/ Sweeney appreciates that the writers scripted an evolution for Sami off-screen. “Part of what they wrote for the storyline is that she’s been going to therapy and talking it out with someone,” she shares. “I thought that was a really interesting choice. I do think Sami can use some therapy, and working through some of those issues is probably very healthy for her. So, in some ways, she’s really tackled her feelings about what happened then and gotten some perspective on it.” I am skeptical that this was done well, but at least it's something. Fyi the metadata on the URL for this pic of Vivian posted upthread (discovered when downloading pic and then looking at the image properties) https://www.soapoperadigest.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Louise-Sorel.jpg -- that gives a date of August 12, 2024. I would have assumed these were the dates that JPI took the photos on the set, but I suppose they could instead be the dates the pictures were processed at JPI. Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford genuinely feel like the key to the beginning of Days of Our Lives' return.
