100% agree. I just think Jason works best when placed into storylines about his family relationships. Steve usually has Jason speaking slowly and deliberately, which makes sense for the character. But it doesn't always work when the show is doing action/mob scenes, as his slow-paced speech can take already-boring expository dialogue and make it more sluggish. But in family storylines like his scenes with Danny today, the slower pace gives the actors more time to react and convey things with their facial expressions. It feels more like old-school soap opera, which is very welcome on the frenetically-edited GH

I think Jason pointing to his head and telling Danny we think in our heads was a throw back to Jason's own brain damage.   I actually think Steve does play Jason as a damaged character that doesn't take social cues well and thinks people are judging.  The writing doesn't play to that often so I appreciated that today.

I HATE Diane.  Hate everything about her.  Still I think she believes Kristina does need help and Alexis and Sonny are too blind to see that.  I think it's a very roundabout way for Diane to try to solve the Kristina criminal issue.

I was wondering that too when she first dropped the papers.  Trying to save Alexis from herself. But after watching it all play out I am not so sure now.

I hope the sex worker that Jordan and Nina hired ends up dead and Drew is blamed. When in reality it was Ezra who killed her.  It would create a big mess and crisis of conscience for Jordan and Nina.

I thought yesterday's episode was really good.  A lot actually happened.

I rarely think about Cody at all, but they really need to figure out what to do with Josh Kelly or let him go.  His main purpose is to hang out with adorable child actors these days.  The show seems to tease Cody with multiple women (and obviously it's Molly currently) and then it goes nowhere.

Anyhow, I laughed when Portia and Nina were stunned by the sex worker asking for $6000.  That doesn't seem like that much for what they are making her do?  Lol

Drew paying someone off to stop Willow from seeing Michael was predictable.  Willow just accepting it and not pushing harder was so weak.  She flew all the way to Germany and is going to shrug her shoulders and turn around and leave.

I don't understand why Carly and Brick were talking so loudly about the super-secret surgery Sonny had.   Maybe actually act like you are looking at hospitals for Michael like you said instead of publicly going on and on about something that you are trying to keep low key.  I do wonder if Natalia was originally supposed to come with Sonny and the show just gave up on that lol.

I am a believer that what Diane did was intentional.  She wrote Davis on the envelope, not Corinthos, so Molly would find it and look at it.

    • I'm going to be so sad when she's written out or leaves. I know characters like this have an expiration date or just come and go often, but I really think she's been an incredible asset to this freshly launched soap. You would think she's been doing soaps for decades, she's a real pro.
    • Agree that this was a great week that brought some much-needed payoff to storylines that have been building for months. I'm just not sure about the comparison with Guza. I think if he were writing the show right now, the big sweeps event would be probably something like Daniel Goddard's Environmental Physics professor setting off a bomb at the Nurses' Ball and the rest of the cast getting caught in the carnage.

    • I don’t know either But having some random junkie extra be a part of John’s death, and Orpheus still being alive doesn’t feel right  I have no problem with the age gap, but I admit I do kind of side eye the high school element. I mean, when they hooked up 21 year old Casey Moss with 53 year old Kassie DePaiva, I had no problem, but this…

    • Trisha Mann-Grant is so so good. I can’t believe I’ve never seen her in something before.
    • When watching the clip of Michael returning I wonder if the announcer set a record for fastest "the role of..." I've never really connected to any of LLC's characters in her soap career, but I will give her credit for always knowing how to make a reaction and scene count. She did when Gio stormed out of the room, and her reaction to Michael returning and walking off with Miley, even in the background of a scene, was great.  (and how is today the day I just realized Lisa is married to Michael Patrick Jann, of The State fame).
