No question. Honestly, I don't want him anywhere near the Democratic Party.

As others have said, they're writing Sidwell the same way they write Sonny -- doing criminal, awful things followed by some "heart of gold" act such as loving your gay son unconditionally or giving big money to a good cause. This allows GH to keep villains on the show for a much longer time than necessary, or for forever.

That was my first takeaway when I mentioned they were throwing Natalia under the bus, They've definitely made Natalia look worse. There's no way Eva LaRue can get these scripts and think "They really love my character here at GH."

I gagged, too. It was enough to make me hate the entire dedication. And then Sidwell makes his big move by underwriting the Nurses' Ball.

Is it any wonder why Port Charles is such a destination for violence and criminality? The supposedly good leaders and citizens glorify the worst criminals. I'd make the case that Laura isn't fit to be mayor because of her feelings about Sonny. I wouldn't want her near public office

Never let it be said GH isn't realistic...

Laura has been aiding and abetting "good" criminals for most of her life. 

She's probably just happy for the work, but she must be confused. Nothing about this character has ever made sense.

They don't seem to know what they want with anything, like Tracy now working with Drew after fighting him tooth and nail. This is probably what they should have done all along, as I can believe she'd side with him over Sonny, but it's messy writing.

I think their reaction to BTG is to do a whole lot of sh*t but to do it very fast.

That's probably true, although as someone said earlier, not much is actually happening. The show just seems completely unsure of where to go or what to do, even as they five episodes a week to fill.

Yeah, I think as fans we have a pretty good idea when they are just stirring pots & stuff like that!

I feel like this is what they're doing by creating lots of storylines but their biggest weakness for years is the inability to properly pace these stories and give resolution. A good example now would be the Gio story which has been simmering for months with very little movement. I went from not caring to being invested to not caring again because of how long it's taking for the secret to be revealed.

One story like that would be fine but it seems like everything moves at this snails pace on GH. They need to do a better job of rotating the stories so everything isn't in that same treading water phase.

When you look at the period between Sweeps, it's as if they tried to maintain a kind of pace where they had a lot of plates spinning in the air & on their fingertips & the whole goal was nothing but to not drop any of those plates. A version of spinning one's wheels. They're not getting anywhere but they give the appearance of a whole lot of activity. I believe it's all about this appearance. At moments they accidentally hit a chord & something resonates but it is a false event.
