I have a T-shirt that has a picture of the girls and says "Stay Golden"

But I want to make one that has a picture of Rose and says, "Back in St. Olaf..." LOL

Rose: I've been on the phone for a half hour and you'll never guess what happened.

Dorothy: You realized you forgot to dial first.

Rose: No.

Blanche: You were holding the receiver the wrong way.

Rose: No.

Dorothy: You were talking into the TV remote instead of the phone.

Rose: No.

Blanche: A shoe?

Rose: No, I'm not an idiot. - The TV has a remote?

LOL!!!

Here's a quote, but I'm not sure if it's word-for-word.

Blanche: Sophia, I need some advice.

Sophia: You're old, you sag, get used to it!

Blanche: I'm sorry, I thought since you looked like Yoda, you were wise too.

when Rose had to give a eulogy for her aunt, Blanche and Dorothy thought of what they would say at each others.

Blanche: I would say, "I always felt safe having you in the house. And, I would always would come home and tell you about one of my numerous dates. And I always looked up to you like an older sister.

Dorothy: Thank you, Blanche. *starts to walk out the kitchen but suddenly stops.* Oh, by the way, I would also say you're fat.

I grew up watching the GG. It is truly one of, if not my absolute favorite shows of all time. I heart Blanche :P

It seems like when the Golden Girls episodes were released on DVD, Lifetime began to scale back on the airings. Golden Girls Season 6 DVD comes out in November :D:D

It's on right now, but yesterday it wasn't. So I really don't know what's up w/ Lifetime. I can't stand that network anyway. GG is by-far their most popular program, but they always mess w/ the schedule.

I can't wait until the 6th and 7th seasons come out, then I can watch all the episodes whenever I want! :)

I like all of the girls, but I think my favorite now is Blanche too.

Remember the episode when the ladies all go to the funeral of the man that Sophia and Blanche had both been dating? At the funeral, they realize that all the people there are women, and the dead man had been dating ALL of them -- including Sophia and Blanche. One lady stands up disgusted, saying that she refuses to mourn a man who slept with every woman in the room. Proud of herself, Dorothy stands up and says, "He didn't sleep with ME." The lady looks at Dorothy, thinks for a second and replies, "Well, I guess even HE had his standards." Love it!

I have another one. When Dorothy and Blanche came out wearing the same dress, they got into a huge beef.

Dorothy: I thought you were gonna wear something out of your closet.

Blanche: I did, but it turns out nothing fits.

Dorothy: Well, what did you expect, Blanche? Last weekend, you ate so many pudding pops, you could have built the Eiffel Tower from the sticks.

Blanche: (sternly) That is not what I meant. I meant everything just hangs on me.

Sophia: Of course, it does. That's why you have to cover it with a dress.

Later.......

Blanche: There is nothing to settle. I am wearing this dress. Dorothy, this dress needs to shown on a devastatingly, beautiful body.

Dorothy: Who are you gonna send it to, Kim Basinger?

Blanche: What is that supposed to mean?

Dorothy: Why don't think about it when you are inhaling your next cheesecake.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.
