Now this is an intelligent use of Kate!

Not only did Kate once think of herself as Johnny's Grandmother, and I appreciate that Johnny is finally being written as a Brady; not just a Dimera.

But, it also plays into Kate's plans for Philip to have EJ distracted by internal family drama.  (I don't kid myself to think that they'll allow Kate that much complexity, but it is a cool dynamic).  My wish would for a story that examines Kate's treatment of Philip (whose death she helped fake in order to avoid jail), versus Lucas (whom she hardly visited -excuse the hyperbole to make a point), and now what part she'll play in Johnny's life.

Good for Ron for getting a last hurrah.

(Watch this be the thing that got him booted and not the Body & Soul crap 😂)

Considering the way he's treated rape for all these years, I wouldn't be surprised if this had something to do with his firing as well

I can’t believe this is finally coming out and they’re flat out calling EJ a rapist. I hope they delve into why the [!@#$%^&*] Sami ever got over it. Which always pissed me off.

And if some of this material was tweaked or rewritten by the incoming head writers. I can't imagine RC treating any story to do with rape with the sensitivity and realism it should have.

I totally agree. Also, I hope Belle is called out for having any sexual relationship with him to. I've always hoped that if this story was told that it would be as realistic as possible, and that it would cause the Dimera's to tear apart, Johnny and EJ's relationship especially. In real life these things break families forever. It would be totally normal and expected that Johnny would never look at his father the same again, that this would forever alter their relationship. Realistically, it probably won't happen that way. I mean Kristen is currently written as a viable love interest for the brother of the man she raped. And I'll be totally shocked if Sami's past transgressions with Austin are addressed properly during this.

I wouldn’t mind at all if they did

@AbcNbc247 and @Antoyne - Does this mean that mid-20s twins Johnny and Allie, (who know that they were born on the same day to separate fathers), never further questioned their conception?

And, does that mean they've spent all this time thinking that their Mom randomly had sex with two men at once? (Poor Sami)

It would certainly be top of mind for me.  Even if my wife was exposed to toxic radiation last year.

Now that you mention it, I don’t think when Allie and Johnny were both on, it ever got brought up. What a total oversight.

Johnny and Allie don't know what happened.  They were told something bland as children (likely offscreen) and never questioned it.  The topic never arose since the time they were SORASed teens returning to Salem.

I don't think they think it was random.  They likely assumed they were both conceived out of love.  That's why this reveal is important -- if handled correctly

Looks like it.

But then, look who the head writer was. In his mind, what EJ did, what Fake Rafe did, Stefan, Leo, etc. isn't rape.
