He sees nothing in her at all in terms of an actual relationship IMO. The true definition of a playboy has always been clear. A man who bounces around seeking sexual pleasure and nothing more. He likely sees Ashley as a potential conquest. I'm also not surprised to see Ashley as this sweet as apple pie type character while almost everyone else is being orchestrated as being trash. Dani and Leslie are being written similarly. Two crazy women dumped by men who chose other women over them. Bill is a cheater, Hayley the homewrecker, Ted the possible cheater and deadbeat (I'm so disappointed in this possibility), his nephew is a young manho, the entire Dupree family seems callous and only interested in reputation and image.

Andre's clearly a player but I think he's deeper than what you seem to be thinking. I believe he's been presented more cerebral, philosophical & also more mellow, more laid back, etc.

But that's not why I'm replying to you.

Creating a second account just so you can temporarily escape from Ignore files is not at all cool, which you may not care about, but is it legal in SON terms?

And, now for my nitpick & technicalities, posting in a public spot & telling people what you post is none of their business doesn't even track. You're posting voluntarily & this is not a private conversation, if you see what I mean.

Now, I'm done. You have a nice day.

I completely agree, but I felt true friendship chemistry with Dani and Vanessa, and I know Vanessa is Nicole's BFF but there was friendship chem there

Pamela is meh. Cady hasn't really impressed me since Rosanna on ATWT, I think she tends to be OTT

It's even more glaring how bad it is with BTG being so good, and YR is so damn boring, someone said it best: it's like a Hallmark show but way more boring

I do think Jen Jacob was a lot better yesterday but overall just meh though

    • So Sonni would have somebody to talk to who she wasn't conspiring with (Will or Alan)? Alex kept telling Sonni how important her friends were...when she had virtually no friends. Instead they created loyal servants like Jane and Vera to give Alex people to play off of. They did that with Iris on AW, but Vivien was mostly there for comic relief Alex keeping Marah's paternity a secret was absurd. But I still love the scene between Alex and Alan where he convinces her by reminding her how they protected each other from their abusive father. Chris and Bev ATE that scene. Unfortunately, that took place only a few months before he exited the show...always thought they could have built on that, explored more how being Brandon's children screwed them both up. Maybe even used it as an explanation for the way their relationship could constantly swing from hatred to love. Instead of it being merely dictated by the plot.
    • The first one is Cass Winthrop dressed as Krystle Lake on Another World (not from his original creation of the character to hide from the loan shark Tony the Tuna, but at a romance convention trying to find out what had happened to Felicia who was missing). The second one is also Another World, Jake McKinnon as Doris although I don't recall what his purpose was.
    • I know there was one brief scene in the summer of 1989 where Lillian did mention Calla.. but in relation to her past relationship to Ross and it was to Roger while he was a patient at Cedars.  I think he was trying to pump her for information on Ross.. and for some reason, Calla's name came up.   I could see perhaps Beth mentioning that her mother Lillian was visiting Calla.. but not exactly giving any sort of details as to the going ons in Calla's life off screen.
    • Mac Scorpio and Kevin Collins, GH

    • They're neither great nor terrible AFAIK, but it is more a question of the streaming numbers in this day and age vs. actual TV airings. The Chibnall era reminded me much more of the crisis years, but I do think it's a very real possibility now as well due to the streaming bubble collapse affecting the show and its prospects.
    • ANYTHING to get her off the screen..she COULD have been interesting if she and Van had a few face offs..(there was a mild one of her going back to work...but I wanted something meatier "Bitch, I am Vanessa Chamberlain and I don't take advice from someone who followed the..career path you did!" I did like Alex's outright disdain for her.
    • Thanks @Vee for the commentary.    I haven’t even watched this season yet after  I couldn’t get past the couple episodes last season…like it was too Disneyified for my taste, although I did think it was a least better than the Chibnall era (but so is a lot of things). I’ll probably go back and binge it now. Hoping this season ends on a high note. I did read the ratings are terrible. As it stands I’m beginning to feel like what long time DW fans felt with S26 in 1989.
    • Yes, they are all on contract. Next.
    • I also never understood Alex's friendship with Sonni or keeping the secret of Marah's paternity.  Not exactly heartbroken about Ms. Sally being ushered to the Hereafter.
