Y&R: March 2025 Discussion Thread

How is any adult expected to invest in the lazy (to say the least) writing??  We now have a character who has been kidnapped a month after her last kidnapping.  Gotta love a believable storyline. . .  LOL

And before anyone asks why am I watching a show if I dislike it so much -- well, I guess I'm watching because of the characters. 

Good news: 
No soccer soaps preemptions for UEFA Champions League
during March 2025 on CBS.
They're doing Paramount Plus only, not CBS-broadcast-TV this year.

As far as I can see, the same would be true for the soccer quarterfinals and semifinals in April and May -- Paramount Plus only.  As per the link.
(However sometimes there is a change announced later, so good to check again in April, to be sure.)

note:
There will likely still be a network-wide preemption for
NCAA Basketball (March Madness tournament).
(to be announced later).
If that happens, it would be for all timezones.
These are the *likely* basketball dates (to be confirmed later)...
Y&R would be affected as follows:
CBS-USA: Thurs. March 20 and Fri. March 21.
Global-Canada:  Wed. March 19 and Thurs. March 20.

I find reading the Canadian spoilers to be enough for me, so I don't sit through the episode.

This is where I'm at. I mostly have the show on as background noise because I don't care enough to pay attention. I looked up, and Sharon and Phyllis were being held hostage, arguing about Nick but not telling anyone they'd been kidnapped. 

Every time I see Devon, I just shake my head. The character came alive with Hilary. I'm still bitter.

I'm sure Josh, Ed Scott etc watched BTG and saw location shoots, extras, multiple sets etc and the best they could come up with is 2 characters locked in a room.

Is it possible this has something to do with Damien and his Alexnder Dumas company/boss?

Today we saw Sharon flipping through books and looking for clues. Is she going to find a book by Dumas like The Count of Monte Cristo and make some discovery? Is this a way to bring Cain back to the story as a powerful entrepreneur out to wreck lives?
