This is the March 2025 discussion thread, dedicated to episodes aired in March 2025. Older episodes can and should be discussed in the classic GH thread, or similar threads. Not this one.

If you are posting current content and using a classic or past clip to draw comparisons, that's fine. Just to post old clips for old clips' purposes, not so much. That can go to the classic thread.

GH isn't very good with romance these days (and honestly that's been one of the show's weak spots for the past 25 years, since the Guza/JFP era). But those Liz/Lucky scenes today were powerfully romantic and poignant. I love how they're showing Liz, who spends most of her time now caring for others as a wife and a mother, getting to return to a time and place where she was led by her own desires. And the fact that they're showing us the flashback footage is just icing on the cake.

Today's daily Jarly video is a "double your pleasure" day, the last 24 seconds of a Friday show, followed by another short but important scene the following Monday.

I think Liz would add Head Nurse to wife and mother!

I must admit that I haven't enjoyed Liz in many years but now I am!!! And, it's because of L&L2 Reboot. It is working. It is romantic. She even makes that mop of hair work, when she plays with his hair. I've said ad nauseum that you can tell they're invested in this pairing because they're spending a small fortune on digitizing these old flashbacks but I say it because it's true.

Sorry, I meant to write that she spends her time taking care of others as a nurse and mother, but you get my point. As a young woman, Liz used to be driven by her own ambitions and desires, but she gradually sublimated that and moved into a caretaking role, a supporting role. And so it's sort of thrilling to see her reconnect with her old "main character energy" again.
