I just never cared about Julian, lol. WdV is a weird dude to me and I thought he made a good, effete villain but that's about it.

Every time I try to watch this show (GH) that's one of the things I notice.

I'd agree with this. Stephen A Smith is a big name by cameo standards of recent times. I'm surprised he even makes the appearances.

IIRC Stephen Smith is a big fan of the show. That's fine, I don't begrudge him appearing, but I don't need his appearances to be some serious dramatic role.

I imagine he enjoys himself. Especially perhaps when paired with some lovely dame. It is my belief that Disney wants him on GH. Since he's already in their employ, I guess they see synergy or branding or something like that. I find him annoying since he is not anyones' idea of an actor but at the same time, it's not a big thing, either. So, basically, I don't get too 'het up about it. Yes, I complain but not a lot. Not like the things I really hate!!!

I am happy that Jordan chose Isaiah over Brick. Brick is not needed on the show.
