Webmaster Errol Posted February 27 Author Webmaster Share Posted February 27 The Gossip today makes me wonder if this is where we have to worry about Leslie... Leslie: So I would much rather hear about the tea from those rich folks behind the gates. So who is going to spill? Hmmm? Mona: Well, I guess the big news is what happened at the country club restaurant. Jan: Oh. Fairmont Crest is buzzing. My phone totally blew up. Mona: Mine, too. Leslie: Okay, what happened? Mona: Ooh. Dani almost put Hayley on the floor. Leslie: What? Jan: Mm-hmm. Mona: From what I heard, if it hadn't been for a barstool or a table breaking her fall, Hayley would have seen ass over teakettle. Leslie: Dani pushed her? (Jan laughing) Jan: Punched her in the face. Leslie: Get out. Mona: No, it's true. In front of a whole house. Leslie: Now, that is delicious. Jan: Mm. Leslie: And good for Dani. You know, you can't home-wreck a woman and expect her not to react. Jan: Mm. Vanessa said she wasn't surprised. She went to Dani's this morning for coffee and found Dani throwing mugs against the wall. Mona: Girl. - Ooh (Laughing) Leslie: Anything to add? Jan: Hmm. Mona: Not really. Everything runs smoothly at Nicole and Ted's. Nothing but love. Jan: Aw. Leslie: Must be wonderful being Nicole Dupree Richardson. I wonder what it's like. Hmm. Talk about a woman who has everything. Mona: Nicole deserves all the blessings. She's an amazing, inspirational person. It's no wonder Ted adores her. Nicole and Vanessa are friends, just like Dani and Vanessa are friends. That said, Nicole and Vanessa haven't kept up with each other much like Dani and Vanessa have. Being the town gossip means you're mostly friends with everyone.
Members Taoboi
Ikr. She was so nice and sweet with Ashley...and when she got home...the 180 took me out. Even with what was seen in the special. Same for Leslie today. Very good casting.
Members ranger1rg
-- The casting is solid. Anyone saying Karla Mosley (Dani) overacts is ignoring the reason she was hired. I'm enjoying her. -- Like others here, I need Martin to improve...become more natural, relaxed. He's great looking, but I don't feel anything between him and Smitty, and honestly, I was looking forward to them together. -- Of Dani's daughters, I think the actress playing Chelsea is much more natural than the one playing Naomi, who is a bit stiff. Plenty of time to improve, though. -- What's with all the flower bushes and full-grown hydrangeas outside of Nicole's window? I don't get that at all. It's Maryland in February, and that makes no sense.
Members Taoboi
Speaking for myself, I think Karla has been doing great, but I feel she has not found her groove yet. Episode 1 was great. I found yesterday good, but I wasn't feel her like I did in Episode 1. And Episode 3 she...WAS...ON...FIRE. I felt that was the most layered she's been so far for me. So much more going on in her face. In her eyes. Beneath the surface. And some of the inflections she had at times gave it. And her Dani with Bill was a dance of sooo much going on. An unpredictable dance. And then there were the moments where she seem like she was going to snap. She was giving livewire and I was living. Members Cheap21
IA and whats what I love about. I know people were speculating about DID but Id prefer if they avoid those over the top soap stunts bc this doesnt need it. There's meaty drama from whats already been set up
Members Mona Kane Croft
Oh yes. Plenty of meaty human drama in the family dynamics, and outsiders creeping in. The writing on BTG is compelling and makes me want to tune in tomorrow. No need to take anything over the top or campy. Keep it real (or at least believable).

Members BetterForgotten
I thought KM was hilariously bad during the crying scene in the elevator while Dani was leaving Bill’s office. Sometimes less is more, especially when playing a character that’s so extra. Edited February 27 by BetterForgotten
Members soapfan770
Just finally caught up on yesterday’s and today’s episodes and all I can is wow! Where to start? I love the old soapy touches…Vernon giving me Papa Bauer vibes, Mona eavesdropping at the door trying to listen in on Nicole & Hayley, Leslie, Jan, and Mona gossiping etc. Favorite things in these 2 episodes? I really continue to enjoy the chemistry between all the Dupree’s I like the warm vibes after years of watching cold Newmans and lukewarm Forresters. I really liked the relationship between Chelsea and Naomi. The scenes giving us background on Ted, Nicole, Kat, and Andre were good. And Ashley’s preceptor knowing about her boyfriend Derek from social media reminds me of some co-workers at work spying on new hires LOL. In a way I do wonder what Hayley’s backstory is but I also hope she doesn’t fall victim to our resident villain Bill. I also like the secondary characters so far too. I’m wondering what the history is behind Leslie as well and why she ran poor Laura off the road. Interesting cliffhanger indeed. Yeah I agree I’m not yet feeling Martin and Smitty yet either. I like Mike Manning too but it feels a bit awkward so far as I think the Martin actor is a bit green. He’s likable though so I’m hoping we start to see more as the show continues into the next few weeks. And as for Dani….well I’m enjoying this hell on wheels introduction we’ve been watching. I’m interested in seeing her calm down the line but for know I’m enjoying the scorned and spicy diva that she is!
Webmaster Errol Posted February 27 Author Webmaster Share Posted February 27 I'm only speculating (no inside info), but I think this is where Jon Lindstrom comes in.
Members watson71
So many old school soap touches Waiting for Vernon to break the fourth wall later this year and give one of those Mac Cory holiday speeches to the show’s audience Please register in order to view this content
Members Antoyne
That was my least favorite performance of hers so far.
Members Cheap21
I like that she's so extra bc the character is mentally unstable and watching her with the various characters, it makes sense why she's like this. I think she's doing well bc my opinion of the character has changed so much in just 3 episodes. She's more layered than I initially gave her credit for
Webmaster Errol Posted February 27 Author Webmaster Share Posted February 27 I didn't take that scene as her crying. I took it as her heartbreaking and her reaching her breaking point with all the crap she's dealing with. We've all experienced that feeling that most would consider "crying," but it never is that.
