That said, McKenna was great as a young actor on OLTL and very good in a throwaway role on Y&R. 

@Liberty City I'd put former Y&R and OLTL actor in the title ....  he's known more for OLTL.

I’m sad we’re losing Charles Measure. He’s been one of Laura Wright’s best chemistry pairings and took what should have been a useless disposable character and gave him legs. 🤦🏾‍♂️ 

I like Chris McKenna and was actually thinking he’d be a good AJ recast if they wanted one. I’ll give him a chance but 😕

This is very interesting. I love McKenna, have since he was teen Joey on OLTL. I even felt the chemistry between him and GR on Y&R (go ahead and throw the tomatoes at me).

I liked Measure, and this changes the character quite a bit. I have a harder time seeing McKenna as an early career peer of Anna and (puke) Valentine. But details do not matter at this point on GH, they retcon their own retcons quite often, and just steamroll along.

This does not help the show’s constant need to blow up romances. They had achieved a slow burn with Carly, and I found their most recent conversations and flirting to be much more adult for Carly, and I believed his side of things too.

Y&R was my first experience with him, and I really liked him.

I agree on both losing Mesure and McKenna joining.

I loved McKenna as Detective Harding on Y&R, and hated that the show threw his character under the bus to be revealed as a villain.

I don't see any need for Brennan period, but I am happy for Chris, I guess? I adore him. This is very odd. Still, Charles Mesure was weak to me.

The very brief, clipped PR statement from the show is curious. I wonder what exactly happened.
