I agree. I would pay money to P&G, a company I detest at this point, if they could stream 85-87. I include 85 because as frenetic as some of the plots are, it does, in a way, it helps present a few of the main characters that really come to life over those next two years. Also, the wedding of Bob and Kim and some really visually attractive costuming and wardrobes for social events and parties that I find entertaining. Presumably, when the uneven storytelling from the Writer's Strike had run its course, there were some iconic scenes that, if I were writing a soap today, I would steal--like the scenes surrounding Emily's outmaneuvering of her ex-lover Tonio to get control of M&A. So '88 did have some entertaining story.
