I am sure all soaps do. Just not in the way that it would mess up a story like it tends to do on this show.

Or Michael will. Let's see if it will be Chad though.

Yes intentions do not guarantee - well anything.

Mac Vader noooooooooooooooooooooo

He hated Robin with Jason. Now, with Sasha, second verse, hates it as much as the first.

The only potentially interesting outcome of this needless secret child plot for me is again, if Gio lashes out by going full rich party animal, drinking and drugging and becoming generally hedonistic to cause trouble. And even that is not worth aging up Dante and BLQ so much.

Have they aged up Dante and BLQ much though? How old do you see them as? To me they are like 38-40. If Gio is 21, then he was conceived when the two were 17-18 which tracks for the timeline

I didn't think any change was going to be needed?

Anna was a far superior hero on this show for much of the '80s than Jason's meathead ass ever was. Her dismal lowlights in recent years while they struggle to make her kowtow before the mob will never erase that legend.

1980s Anna Devane was THE hero/heroine of my life, and then of course Xena and Captain Janeway.

I miss *that* Anna so much!

Oh yes I liked Captain Janeway, Seven of Nine, and B'Elanna Torres. The three main women of Voyager had *all* had brains, savvy, and strength.
(I know they made Seven's uniform to cater to a certain demographic of viewer, but I disregarded that. I liked her character, intelligence, and dry humor.)

Seven liked the ladies in Picard

Patrick Mucahey tried to give Anna Devane a brain, but then he was gone.

Is there any hope to ever get *dynamic* Anna Devane back?

Or should I just have to accept that whoever is being written now is a completely different character with the same name and actor?
