Cody overcome one of the most wretched and intensely unpopular introductions I've seen for a new character in quite a while (I still don't know why people were calling him "Truck Nuts"!) to win me over as the easygoing, kind, witty and somewhat himbo-ish stablehand for the Qs. Why they would go back to shít that does not work for this character - presumably because Frank and CVE remember him playing scheming Cutter on OLTL - is beyond me. He can get into capers and stuff, but let's not get stupid.

It is so bad. It shows how little they regard her at this point, too. She could be doing Gio, but that would scandalize people. Or I'd take that secret Ward heir! I don't care! Anything else!

It sucks because he was playing easy charm so well, and it was working.

I have to be honest, I was kind of dreading Michael’s children (and us) being put through a custody war. I was close to dropping the show for awhile because I had my fill of it when the show revolved around fighting for baby Michael for a decade. But the inclusion of Tracy has made it actually watchable. Add to that Drew being pure scum and I was actually entertained.

Hats off to Cynthia Watros- her clear disappointment at Willow running to Drew when she was solving the problem, and General attitude towards him is great. If Nina has to be here, this is a great way to utilize her.

Nailed it about Cody.

This is horrible character regression that makes no sense and does nothing but service bad plot.

Yes, Cody was given a wretched and intensely unpopular introduction, yet over the course of a year, Josh Kelly and GH were able to turn that around. Cody became a character I wanted to keep around.

This turn -- back to being irresponsible and careless and lacking on any level of common sense -- is just awful.

    • What will actually change though? Does this mean the sets will be different too? Or how exactly is this gonna look like to the viewers?
    • I'm not sure Passions is the model to emulate here.
    • Passions had Chad sleeping with his cousin nephew Vincent, ironically played by Daphne Duplaix (disguised as Valerie)

    • @Errol confirmed JFP is back in a non-producing role.
    • Same tbh. His brother got all the attention as he got older and hotter but Eric I like best. I need to get back to this show.
    • *watching season 5* Me: “I wish they did more with Eric, he’s so cute and sweet.” *Eric slaps the piss out of Diana* Me: “Godddddd, I love Eric!!!!”

    • I do agree that I wish there was more gay representation in terms of singles. I also had hoped we'd get a Black couple since it was a Black soap and I don't know that we've ever seen that on a US soap.  With that said, it's still early days so I can imagine we'll get that at some point. I am impressed they launched with as much LGBT representation considering how US soaps can be.
    • Thank you. I know we're all supposed to see that BTG is progressive when it comes to queer characters, but it's telling that they won't commit to showcasing gay or bi males who are single and looking. That relationship couldn't be any more traditional. Will we ever get a bedroom scene with Smitty and Martin? I have my doubts.
