I know it's Victoria Konefal's thing to wear "revealing" things... but as Ciara, for a funeral/memorial, it felt beyond disrespectful to me that her breasts were just... hanging out at every single angle. I mean, they're beautiful and she is beautiful, but it was not the event to be displaying them in such a way.

I mean, for Ciara this is FORMAL funeral attire.  You forgot to show how short the dress was as well lol.  Her 9 months pregnant "maternity" clothes were more revealing.

VK wants us to know she is hot and Ciara looks quite good after having two babies in like two years.

I am telling you Ciara's hands didn't open up the Horton time capsule.  Her magical boobs willed it to open on its own.

I'm all for showing off her body; she's got a beautiful figure, but for a funeral/memorial? That wasn't it. She was falling out of her outfit, and that's where I'm kind of like, "Girl, it's nice we're seeing what we're seeing but for this occasion? Put 'em away!"

And yes, those boobs did open the capsule. One said "open" and the other said "sesame," and it opened.

Well, I looked up Ciara's exact dress from House of CB and it literally says made for smaller busts in the sizing info, so VK obviously ignored that lol.  It's velvet and mesh.  A high neck fitted velvet maxi dress would have shown off her figure just as well and looked more appropriate for a funeral and the month of December.  To me, it's similar to the previous Kirsten Storms issue-there are things the actors like wearing and things that don't fit the character at all.  Someone in wardrobe should have at least asked her to thrown on a blazer for the actual memorial.

Honestly, I am pretty sure Days lets actors use their own clothing if they want.  I doubt they have a closet full of dresses for VK as she's just a guest.  I am 100% sure she wasn't forced to wear it either.

And, c'mon, she lives on a boat with limited closet space, but could buy at last minute ticket to Salem?  We have no indication she is poor, so she could have bought a nice enough funeral dress.  I doubt Ben has that extensive of a wardrobe.  He owns like two shirts and doesn't wear them.

And they have two kids. C'mon now. Is she full breasts out on a boat all-day long? Even Belle & Shawn-Douglas went more dressed when they left for a boat, lmao.

And I doubt anything in the wardrobe, from Ciara's past, would have worked. She's been pretty pro-boobs going back to pre-COVID.

Closest thing that would've been "acceptable."

Yeah, but those leather jackets are bulky

Meanwhile, can someone answer my question about where Bo&Hope live in relation to Jennifer, Jack, Shawn-D, Ciara, Ben, and their kids?  Because I thought it was established that they all live in Boston.

    • Same here.  Anyone who voluntarily left Margo's penthouse set (except to go overseas or to Heaven) was immediately on my blacklist.  lol.

    • The penthouse was my favorite set... and it changed hands from Margo to Draper/April to Miles/Nicole then to just Miles... before he opted to give that beautiful place for that drab house with the even more drab Beth.  That was a jump the shark moment for me LOL
    • The storyline April and Draper are involved in during the summer/autumn of 1979 seems fairly "benign" but soon turns very serious.  April has a VERY intrusive, wealthy mother (Margo Huntington Dorn).  Margo knows that April and Draper (who've recently had a miscarriage and are theoretically never going to be able to conceive another baby) want to buy a house.  Margo hoodwinks them into buying a house they can't afford.  The house is listed at $100,000 (about $400,000 in today's dollars).  Margo pays the first $35,000 and leads Draper to believe the asking price of the house is $65,000 instead of $100,000.  If Draper finds out his meddling mother-in-law paid 1/3 of the cost of the home and tricked him, he'll be mad as hell.   Meanwhile, Draper has received a job offer from a prestigious New York law firm.  Margo pulls some strings and has the senior partner in the firm rescind the offer, to keep April in Monticello.  If Draper finds out about THAT, he'll be even angrier with Margo than he will be about the house trickery.  All of that is "bubbling under the surface" in the fall of 1979 but will be the next major story, as everything begins to spiral out of control.   Yep, you've got the Karrs and their very basic middle-class house, the Victorian-themed place where Miles and Nicole live, April and Draper's old craftsman house with the exposed beams, the Madisons & their Mission revival house, and Margo with her 1970s-chic penthouse.  Each of the sets is completely different.  And their budget was like zero, lol.
    • It felt weird and out of place.  I get. While I agree with those on here that he's gotten better, it's still really bad. I'm not seeing the "good" acting some see...but I'll give him a B for being better than when he first started. There's potential. I'll leave it at that.
    • It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever.

    • Ah! Good to hear. Isn't it especially odd to think that house fictionally exists not far from the Karrs?  Or, that it was designed non-fictionally by the same person who designed April's place?
    • Good to know I'm not the only one who noticed that. Strange and awkward, and I don't know what they're doing with those fades.   -- Finally, had to laugh at how many Emmys this board passed out today.
