Thoughts:
Lynette is about to be a thorn in the con artist child bride's side... could this lead to her actually loving her husband to prove a point?
I appreciate seeing Bill entrust Lynn's case to Tomas. Another sign of him inching closer to being a partner at the firm.
Oh, the heartbreak on Anita's face says it all. Poor dear. Her life is flashing before her eyes.
I fully believe Vanessa in this story; she is trying to sell Joey. I can only hope he buys it as well.
The spoilt, self-centred bitch continues to say she does not mean to do something; intention is everything, whether it is meant or not. She should learn that.
Vanessa is doing everything she can to sell this to Joey while still obviously dealing with her grief. It is a masterclass in manipulation to achieve the endgame.
It could be me, but I do believe Lynette's surface story. But Bill and his whore's face have been seen in the press for the past year. There is no way Lynette has avoided it.
Bowling? Downstairs? I like the continued bonding that is being built but they have a bowling alley downstairs? Wow.
I think it shows great strength that Anita is leaning on Dani in this moment, knowing how close she is with Vernon, as the daddy's girl.
Lynette is insinuating a lot of "big" in her fantasy world. I love how ambitious she is about it.
Dani, I see you piecing those pieces together. You are on the proper track, sweetie!
Chelsea, sweetie, this is why you knock or call before entering into your childhood home. But what does Dani have up her sleeves? Are they in some kind of Christmas attire?
I appreciate Tomas standing his ground; I completely understand his point of view and why he is staying aligned to Bill at the law offices.
Rowena sounds like a hoot and a holler. I hope we get to see her at some point!
Daddy's girl and mother's woman. Oh, the way Dani always knows the right words to say. She has got it.
Notes:
Normally a continuity producer, Montgomery's scripts he has provided as a breakdown writer have been outstanding, and Paige's natural talent for scripted words shines through.
Tamara Tunie (Anita)'s unspoken talent just shines. She is embodying everything about this storyline right now. Kudos to her. Award-worthy.
So many incredible camera angles the past several episodes that are setting this soap apart from the others, and it is an amazing foundation for this soap's future.
