@dragonflies 6 to 8 months ago I probably would agree with ditching both KS and Maxie at least for awhile.  She's had a great turnaround lately and it's shocking.  I'd be curious as to why you get rid of Maxie today.  It's not like KS just appeared.  She's been around for 20 years almost now.

Kirsten was fully revitalized not only by better scripts in the spring but by her own medical turnaround. I really never thought I'd see the day and I hope it lasts. I would absolutely keep her now, though eventually I'd end things with Spinelli (putting her with a new Michael is still on the radar for me).

Well I took the liberty of watching the live thread earlier on my Hulu who I saw the end of the episode with the next week scenes. 

 

Apparently ABC already went ahead and released a sneak peek for next week involving the character who is clearly missing from this story as referenced above that said character does appear next week. For those waiting for that character's reaction to the news revealed at the end of today's episode.

The change in Maxie, script-wise, has ben... outstanding. The re-pairing with Spinelli actually put some spunk back into the character that had been missing since pre-Nathan.

Never ever liked her as Maxie, I can tolerate her.
