Yes, she is, but it's painfully obvious TPTB are pushing to put Dante & Lulu back together again, so I don't wager what returning Johnny would do, especially since they could have used Sam for that role.

I can't believe he's leaving on Monday! 

There's been very little build up for his exit.  They've already covered his terrible history with Abigail.  And, The Bistro was a good base of operations for the character.

I assume Vivian will finally usher him out.  I think the character has too much baggage, which is a shame because the actor is charismatic.  Also, EJ and Stefan are a bit redundant as characters because their role in the family is interchangeable, and their rivalry is way beyond played out.

While I'm pleased that Gabi is getting a family, I do not look forward to her eventual pairing with EJ.

Stefan was played out. The character had been annoying me for some time. When Ron killed him off his character became less important in my eyes.

Brandon will be fine doing Hallmark movies with Chandler.

Also, wasn't there a week or so while Gabi was in prison that we got news that Mr. Barash was off contract?  I assume @JAS0N47 would know, but I don't want to bother him if anyone else can recall.

And don't forget, he's still got that rocking band with Eric Martsolf.  I'm certain they've got some dates lined up at Yuck Yuck's Pittsburgh and The Osmund Cousin Saloon in Branson Missouri.
