He's definitely younger than both Massey & Wilson, but looks-wise he would fit the role and I could see him playing a 30-something more effectively than a high schooler.

Thats why I suggested that idea with Tyler Kiriakis. He’d be around that age by now.

I am on the cut Body and Soul scenes from future episodes to end the horrible crap!

I agree Leo Howard needs to for a more age appropriate and better actor, or try geting Jamie Martin Mann back.

 

 

On another note, Stefan, EJ, and Eric have the worst fades in daytime.  Why can't someone blend their sides?  I also don't know what is so distracting about Brady's beard?  Is it the color or the sharp edges that mimic his formerly chiseled face?  DAYS wardrobe, hair, and makeup has got to be the worst for men across all soaps.

Tate may look a bit old, and his portrayal could use some tweaks, but at least his hair looks natural. 

I would probably just ditch the high school setting for Holly/Tate/Sophia and just say they are in college.  They all look a bit too old for high school.  AP probably reads the youngest, but she's 22 or 23 IRL and could obviously play a college kid.

I can't imagine LH as Will, but I totally get why @Liberty City said he reminds him of Guy Wilson.  Again, I don't think LH is hopeless, I just don't think the show is writing toward his strengths and they need to figure that out.  It's just not working right now.

I'm like 3 days behind. I start to watch the show. But, I don't finish it. I'm not quite sure what is up with me as far as DAYS goes. In the past when I took a break, it was very intentional & this seems more like a bad car accident. "Body & Soul" it is killing me. I hate Hattie, also hate Bonnie. And, of course, I always hate LEO. It's like with Deidre playing Marlena & also Hattie & they both play Charlemagne & WAIT A MINUTE. These are all the same people.

I just skip Body and Soul episodes. They are isolated to their own awful bubble so you miss none of the decent stuff

I would get them out of high school ASAP. Even just freshmen in college world work better.

Yeah, I think it opens everyone up to a bit more adult stories too.  I know soaps are built on the teen scene, but I tend to find high school storylines trite and all about virginity and/or teenage pregnancy, so move along Days lol.

I don’t think teen stories in 2024 are going to grow the younger audience again anyway. Let’s get to the college stuff.

I agree; if they had just aged him up a bit more to post-high school, then that would've made sense... but then they wouldn't be trying to sell the Holly pairing.

Yeah, in the past a college age guy could pursue a high school girl on soaps and it wouldn't even get a side eye.  I can see why Days tried to make them the same age, but the onscreen maturity level is just so off.

It really is; Howard comes off as Puzemis' older brother, and not a romantic partner.

They really don't have a ton of romantic chemistry and even when Holly is awful Tate feels almost accepting or patronizing.  Like "Oh, Holly, you are so silly".  I mean if they want to really go there age Holly up a bit and hook her up with EJ.
