Thanks Funny.

Nothing much for spoilers, but this was on the gossip site of SoapZone:

After all that angst, Ethan will only be Holly’s boy, not Luke’s, and not even Robert’s. Who’s the dad? Who knows, but his identity could either be a non-issue (ala Sam) or a major twist. Jane Elliot (Tracy) had to attend an executive meeting the other week, but nobody knows the details, other than a plotted resurgence of the Quartermaines in upcoming story, as a last-ditch effort to boost flagging ratings. –Soap Dish

That was from the lil sharks poster--I didn't bother to bring it over because so much of the other stuff listed with it was out and out BS. Meetings with BG/JFP don't seem to bode well these days. I was hoping that it was a fake drop. I'd love to think they would have a Q story--but their idea of that would be if Edward dies or something I am afraid.

I dunno. JI might actually retire, which would be a major hole in the Q's that Tracy has to fill, and quite frankly that's out of the hands of TPTB. But from what we've seen lately, I think they are realizing the way to go is through Tracy. She was the hog this week (thank God). And I have the distinct sense that Friday's scenes were added after the fact. But the vet to center around is not TG, it's JE. And if they do that everyone is happy - she's connected all over the place not, and brings TG along for the ride. I'm not saying she'll ever be a lead (more's the pity) but she's got the most ground to build with.

Check your email Lainey.

Oh and here is some info from the dish--some outline type info about there being an umbrella story that is supposed to go through the summer on GH

I"m including it all--but if this is accurate--Tony won't be gone offscreen for the four months like normal--they say he is pre-taping a ton and won't be noticably missing for more than a week or two here and there. I swear--it is because of his new protege!

Thanks for the spoilers Hooked. Personally I hope they are all true and that TPTB learned for the disaster of last summer. 2007 was bad, but 2008 was hideous. My only reticence is the reference to TG's winter vacation, because he didn't have a winter vacation - all those weeks were added to his summer vacation last year, as we are all painfully aware. TG said so himself. Now, he might have taken a week or two and pre-taped those scenes with NP, but it wasn't the winter vacation he's had in the past.

If they are going to go with the Helena/Holly/Tracy/Luke/Ethan/Lulu/Rebecca/Nicholas as one umbrella with Sonny/Carly/Jax/Alexis/Michael/Kristina/Edward for another, and Scrubs/Spixie and a few others thrown in to boot, I think it's shaping up to be a very good summer. The compartmentalizing of couples has been a great disservice to GH.

All the new spoiler/insider info sound great, but I doubt they are true. How can TG pre tape scenes for three month? He would be in the studio everyday until he is off for Europe. Also, are the scripts written that early, so that he can pre tape that much?

And if he is only off for a few weeks, than he will have a really long vacation at the end of the year. I really don't see how all this will work out.

Anyway, for years now I wish GH would do pre taping with TG to shorten the absence of Luke, maybe my wish will be come true this year. Even if he is only on once a week (and sometime twice) that would be good. Let's see how it will all work out.

Yeah I am not sure about that, but what it could be though is he is pre-taping a bunch of stuff with Emma Samms if she is here for a limited time taping. If they are not having scenes with the rest of canvas except for a few characters I could see where they could pull it off.

I think Tony pre-taped a bunch of that stuff with Ethan (it was only them in scenes for weeks and weeks) before the studio went dark--he could then easily have taken several extra weeks off on top of the two weeks the studio was dark for the holidays. Since he was isolated in scenes with only Ethan it would be very easy to pre-tape.

Plus his vacation time could have started over again when he renegotiated

In any event--let's hope it is true. I think TG is pretty vested in making this Ethan character stick--so maybe he is working around his vacation schedule and willing to pre-tape.

Bottom line for me--is if Tracy isn't MIA for four months, I'm happy.

date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 | Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Samantha, accept the fact you were in the wrong and do not deserve your digital devices. Do not like it? Go upstairs. Read a book. Do some knitting. Bradley and Martin's "we get it" to Tyrell was hilarious and absolutely a parent's thing to do. Loving a bit of history of both the Duprees (via Eva) and the Hawthrones (via Izaiah). So cute. Poor June. I am sure she did not purposefully mean to mess up; we have all been there working in customer service. Shake it off and keep on keeping on! Not twice a week for Vernon's cobbler order... Sharon must be using that as payment for their meetings. I appreciate that Ted still cares about the Duprees despite the end of his marriage to Nicole. Not Dana using Peaches' crisis as a way of taking Ted's attention away from a co-worker. Girl, do not be so obvious. Bradley is a man after my own heart with a simply divine chocolate milkshake. That is the way to go. Dana really needs to dial it back. Money will not buy her everything she wants and she will realise it soon enough. And I doubt Shanice is scared off by her idle threats, either. "With all due respect, Ms Thomas, this isn't a shopping mall." Oh, Dr Wilkes just owned Dana's arrogant ass. I love it. Wigs and personas? Okay now, Shanice ate with that read. I like that June assured Bradley that she will not replace him or Martin in the twins' lives. And that blood does not make a parent. Words never rang more true. Jessica reading Samantha was amazing. Dana would want to involve Ted. Her obsession is crossing beyond dangerous boundaries. Not Dana catching Vernon leaving Sharon's room at the country club. That is not good. Not good at all! Notes: Ugh. Not another breakdown from writer2. This week was going so well. Thankfully, Paige is an outstanding scriptwriter (one of this soap's best), and her words today are excellent. The food at Orphey Gene's does look bomb, so I do not blame any of the characters for uptalking it. I would eat there daily if I could. And gain hundreds of pounds, too. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) continues to make me sick watching him, but he is nice to listen to. I still really like having June as the central person hub at Orphey Gene's. That familiar face you see when you walk in and have scenes. Dana wanting a second opinion means we could have an incoming doctor, right...?

    • I am sure "no one cares" and it's not a big deal to some people, but this thread is full of certain posters calling out women's ages, their viability to have children at like 35, and their nail polish, but we celebrate everything Chandler Massey does and applaud any male shirtless scenes.  And then posters walk back being like it's just a joke and weren't serious lol.
    • I'm so glad she's still on the show. Seems like she may have dropped a hint about the real source of conflict between her and Dee, too.
    • I don't know how reliable the information is, but from what I've read, he joined GH in 1977, and Alan (who started airing in September 1977) was one of his creations. That should have been enough time to get the show in better shape by the January 1978 episode we saw, but then again, shifting from a 30 minute to a 60 minute format is a big transition, one that requires a lot of filler scenes like Monica having a long flashback to a scene that must have only played out a few weeks earlier.
    • I agree. She said, "I do," and then decided, "I don't." I wish Nikki Abbott had been a longer duration. I wholly prefer Nikki with Jack than I ever have with Victor, and today's episode proved that. And I never minded Ashley with Victor.
    • That one really bothered me. The chemistry was still very much there and then she married Jack and immediately ran off to find Victor. It was such a slap in the face to anyone that was a fan of the pairing.
