Well since I am too freaking lazy to do the spoiler thingy...you get it this way peeps! Hate how they make our girl sound pathetic!

But on a positive note...this will be 11th straight week (minus the one short week for thanksgiving) that Tracy has been on. The other positive news is I think she will meet my personal goal of hitting the 80 episode mark LOL!!! So this won't be her worst year since she returned. I believe after this week it will be 79, so she has to be on at least two more times.

National Enquirer Spoilers - Week of 12/22

Jax and Carly end up under the mistletoe together.

Time is running out for Sam.

A lonely Tracy watches Luke from afar.

It's Robin and Patrick's big day.

It's that time again when Guza gives us a sneak peek of what to expect for the upcoming year. I'm sure you all can guess that it is cataclysmic, involves a crisis of some sort, will turn the entire canvas upside down, and that every single character (well, almost) will be involved! And there will be secrets and romance and prob. secret romances... Every. Single. Year. Scratch that. Every. Single. Sweeps.

Link - nothing on LuNacy, in particular.

hooked, I don't mind that scoop about her being lonely and watching Luke from afar. As long as she isn't watching him behind potted plants. ;) I just hope that's EDIT: NOT just what LuNacy's scene in the Christmas montage is. I don't think so, since they are supposed to celebrate together, no? Oh well... I'm just happy she's on. :D

From SOW

SOW - Editor's Opinion

As much as I enjoyed Laura's recent visit, I confess I'm glad Luke stayed in PC - and hitched to Tracy. While Laura may be the One True Passion of his life, Luke is a different person with his current wife - and I like this cynical, deal-from-a-stacked-deck guy with a chip on his shoulder. And her undisguised bitterness at the world is just hilarious. There's no more simply way to put it: These two world-weary warriors work.

I want to apologize to you Star, for misunderstanding the intent of your post. I assumed that you were being smart@$$ writing something non-LuNacy in spoiler black to be sarcastic. You said you were doing it just to try it out, so now I get it. So again, I apologize for misreading your intent.

Morning all.

Constance Towers was on Stardish last night and she mentioned JE and TG. Someone had asked her about coming back to GH and she said she's love to, also saying she'd love to work with JE and TG again. Said JE was such a character. Also mentioned something like they wanted to do a Thelma and Louise type thing with her and JE. Wouldn't that have been fun!

I was lucky enough to get thru and talk to her! I didn't ask about JE or TG - asked about other stuff and besides, I was too nervous and couldn't think straight...lol.

Anyway, I'd love it if Connie came back to GH as Helena and mixed it up with Luke and Tracy again.

    • I would argue that Another World never played "everything" for laughs. Even when there were comedic scenes in some storylines there were other storylines that were not intended as comedy.  You give 1988 as the end point, and Mary was on the canvas from August 1986 to February 1989, so she must have overlapped with the despised laughs you are referring to at least half of the time she was there. I honestly can't recall any real comedy that Mary would have been part of. I don't think she was lighthearted about choosing between two husbands, MJ's prostitution, Kathleen's death, or even her son Scott dating her daughter Cheryl.  I would have said that the amount of comedy depended on the head writer and there was more comedy under Richard Culliton and Gary Tomlin in 1984 than subsequent headwriters. I guess there was an outbreak of more comedy when Cecile kidnapped Cass from his wedding in 1986, but in general the Sin Stalker wasn't presented as funny, Mitch's return wasn't funny, John's arrival wasn't funny, Reginald wasn't funny. The tone was serious even if the plots verged on the ludicrous. And maybe that's what you mean -- but I would make a distinction between intentional comedy and storylines I can't take seriously for other reasons.
    • I'm excited for us to get back to a full weeks worth of episodes and also us beginning to move into the episodes filmed once the show premiered. We're already starting to see changes in the lighting and the way certain characters are styled. Of course we know this week we have our first recast as well. After the big Eva reveal, I hope the show continues to move into a positive direction and that we see them starting to fix some of the things we've all had issues with.
    • It seems like they may have been going in one direction for Andre and then changed their mind. He had this player/bachelor thing going at first where he was messing with Dani, seemed to be feeling Eva, and then somehow smitten by bland Ashley of all people. I feel like Ashley was supposed to be the one that finally made him want to be with someone and settle. The way he talked her up in those earlier episodes was really confusing. The wonderful, amazing nurse Ashley and conveniently she's unattainable because she has a partner, but he can't stop thinking of her and takes these busted pics of her. It was a mess. However, it all seems to have been dropped. I honestly feel like Andre can go. That may be an unpopular opinion but I don't need his breathy final syllable to be content with BTG. It's always like "There's gotta be another wh-ahyy"
    • This is where McLaibey falls apart. It becomes clear that McTavish had not thought past Brent/Marion...so the energy drops and she starts throwing things at the wall (Blakes twins, Lonatrat.)   Fans HATED this funeral. Everyone is mad at everyone else, which is fine, the death of a beloved community figure would give people a reason to come together...(Quint and Nola could come together at least for  a bit to support each other, Nola and VAn could finally admit they kinda, sorta like each other) Its just an example of McTavish's mean writing.   I have a feeling they were going to make Dahlia Frank's kid but they chickened out. Making Tina a prostitute didn't help, they could have been lovers when they were young but felt society pressure to part. Marcus took over David's role (you can't have two young black men at that time...)   Get used to it...this will happen, the same storyline over and over until the end.
    • Does anyone happen to have a recording or any footage of Jennifer’s funeral?
    • It's such a shame that the conflict couldn't be resolved in a mature way between the two actors.. especially since Albee was a bigger asset for the show in terms of character and his popular will they/won't they pairing with Deborah Saxon. One of the things about Edge was that it was just as popular with male viewers as it was with women.  It's one of things I think the show forgot in the final year or two with the deemphasis on the male characters.
    • Daytime Confidential did a podcast of the worst mothers in soaps and here were their lists.  5.Felicia Scorpio 4.Reva Shayne 3.Dina Mergeron 2.Helena Cassadine/Shelia Carter 1.Brooke Logan Dishonorable Mentions- Stephanie Forrester,Ann Douglas, Phyllis Summers and Joanna Manning Joshua 5.Anna Devane 4.Diane Jenkins 3.Ava Vitali 2.Shelia Carter 1.Brooke Logan Dishonorable Mentions-Alexis Davis, Felicia Scorpio, Eve Donovan, Heather Webber, Natalia Ramirez, Stephanie Forrester, and Ruth Martin Luke 5.Natalia Ramirez 4.Diana Coville 3.Helena Cassadine 2.Alexis Davis 1.Arlene Vaughn Dishonorable Mentions-Stephanie Forrester Now for my comments.
