That makes sense. I'm just happy that Alexis is going to be there and involved.

And thanks for the scans Hooked. I'm still not happy with Luke and how this entire storyline has played, but Luke and Tracy sure look cute in the wedding pics with their little matching haircuts and all. I'm hoping for a nice couple days for LuNacy.

Regardless of how they got there, I'm just going to enjoy it.

On a personal note, I just got a call from my husband and Feds want to transfer him potentially before the end of the fiscal year. That means I quite likely have three months to pack up our 12 years/friends/commitments in Toronto in order to move to Ottawa.

And for those of you in Texas and California, that's like moving to Alaska….. in March. I'm a little upset about all of this, even though I know moving the the Nation's Capital will be great for everyone eventually.

Woo hoo. Finally made a holiday banner for this year that I like - corny and unrealistic as it may be (see signature). :)

Looking forward to next week. It's been nice to see Tracy with something I'd actually call a story.

Has anyone heard anymore on the spoiler from a couple months ago about the Balkan having been crazy in love with one of the older women in Port Charles? The spoiler said think Tracy, Alexis, or Olivia. My theory is that Tracy had been involved with the Balkan either out of necessity or because she didn't know about his crimes. This could have been during the time she was banished. She became pregnant and was forced to give the baby to the Balkan because he threatened Ned or her family. This could have happened after she left town due to the Edward pills storyline. The baby, Aleksander, could have been the third pregnancy Tracy had. I remember reading that she told Lulu about her three pregnancies during Lulu's abortion storyline. I doubt this is going to be the case, but I think it would be a great opportunity for Tracy to get a meaty storyline.

Hey all...

Remos that is tough about moving. When will you find out for sure? So hard to pack up your life and start over again, but having kids does make it easier to meet people.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

Hmm…. I haven't done anything for awhile, but I might be in the holiday giving mood. Why don't you guys give me ideas of what you'd like to see and I'll come up with something.

Thank you, that's very kind of you. biggrin.gif

hehehe!!   Lainey is clapping!

I want EXPLOSIVE!

This is a woman who connects mentally, physically and emotionally with her dream man. She never thought this was possible. And even if it was possible, she never thought he'd reciprocate. And he does.

The wedding night is a culmination of a long, frustrating journey that she never believed would end in her favor.. but it did. And that blows her mind. She can barely comprehend it.

Any of this make sense?

I have a few old Jane Elliot interviews from her various soaps - I would be happy to post them here but I wanted to ask first because I thought it would be rude to just throw things in and assume someone wants to read them cluttering up the board. If you're interested in any of them let me know and I will post a few.

    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton practically twirling his moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?

    • Thanks for asking that!  Back when we had another major event upcoming (a party or the concert), I had intended to ask what everyone here was planning to wear.

    • Lol. Right?  I mean the show could have framed the 60th anniversary in a different way, but the narrative was celebrating Tom and the hospital. Also, what a weirdly sexist bunch of posts about women's nail polish.  Like, yes, this is Days problem lol.  Stacy Haiduk isn't a good Kristen because she doesn't wear nail polish?  Are we in the 1950's???
