I think she certainly more of the "bad sister" compared to Nicole. The "momager" label rarely tends to be a compliment though I don't think Dani will be anywhere near the caliber of GH's "sympathetic" homophobic momager Natalia. I think it is said Bill / Hayley were involved during Bill and Dani's marriage, but the desire for acceptance seems more of a gray area character. I could be wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if Michele Val Jean drew some inspiration from Potomac.
