Yes, saying something like that Frank guy should be fired. That's #1 at GH. That is not an enhancement to employment by any means at all!

And, the thing about Burton is, yes, he disagreed with the vaccine mandate & refused, so he had to be let go, but he never mouthed off, at all. Instead saying maybe he would be lucky & in the future that he & GH would be on the journey together again, etc. Unlike Ingo he was very smart in how he handled himself & the press. And, no, I don't care for Burton, but this is an aspect where he is due consideration.

For the most part Burton, Shriner & Hennessey are smart about what they say, how they relate to the press & to the fans & also what they don't say. Although I did read that recently Shriner said, "Liesl who?" so perhaps he is situationally smart, sometimes is, sometimes isn't.

Ingo & ASJr are seemingly never smart about what they say.

And he knows that it is over with Liesl & he knows just what he did to cause that, too! Me, I'd say jerk & [!@#$%^&*], but I will also accept jerk & jackass. Works for me. Like Donell, Kin has 'tude. He's not fixated on a blonde power player, no he's fixated on Scotty having a young hot thing for a girlfriend. 24-27, say, any hair color, any eye color but young & HAWT!

I'm over this notion that actors have much of a say in story.

Especially the notion that Kin, a recurring player who's only there due to the generosity of his employers, could flex his muscles about who he's paired with...

As for wanting some young love interest, yea we all have dreams.

Kin (who's been on recurring for aeons) has never said a word against being paired and re-paired with Lynn, Jackie, Genie and then Kathleen Gati over the last 20+ years. I don't mean back in the '70s, '80s or '90s, I mean the show's regular tired attempts to link Scott and those women back up in the 21st century, before they more recently tested him with Maura and then put him with Obrecht for a long stretch. I can't remember a time he had a love interest that was ever age-inappropriate in fact. I find it extremely hard to believe he is suddenly demanding a young woman lol.

It's not that Kin has any power over his story if that is what you're thinking. It is a question of control & misbehavior.

Once due to some misbehavior they took a court case away from him & made up some story nonsense about him having to go deal with Serena being arrested for advocating for the whales. It was an abrupt change in story.

With Gati he made her cry more than once on set.

    • In some ways, the scene of Greg kissing Paige in front of Laura (or at least when she's at home) is tough to take as it feels like they are building his next romance in front of the woman they are dumping from the canvas, but I do appreciate that Laura was in no way bothered. She knew Paige wasn't a threat, and she also knew that even if Greg did move on, she had come through worse and wasn't going to let herself be in a Richard-like marriage ever again. I'm also glad they didn't ever try to have her choose a wife for him - not a fan of that trope. (although she probably would have chosen anyone, including Leona Helmsley, over Abby)
    • YR did air on the West Coast, only BOLD was a full pre emption They'll probably remove the BOLD episode once they realize lol
    • Today's episodes of B&B and Y&R are both up at cbs.com. No idea how this is a "full preemption." These morons need to get their ish together.
    • I may have to take a break, Ambyr has me dang near crying every time I watch.

    • I think @DRW50 had it right when he said that the Lechowicks couldn't categorize Laura as easily as they could the other women on the show.  Laura wasn't vixenish like Abby, nor was she was a heroine in the same mold as Val or even Karen.  She was entirely down-to-earth, and more the type who plays things closer to the vest.  Plus, her marriage to Greg was pretty solid (with Laura knowing exactly the kind of man she'd married) to the point where splitting them up and keeping them apart would've taken more effort than perhaps they were willing to expend. I mean, it's easy to generate conflict between Mack and Karen, because Mack and Karen are both very stubborn people who believe they can handle crises on their own; and it's easy to generate conflict for Gary and Val, too, because each is basically an overgrown teenager who'd rather suffer in silence than just express to the other how they feel.  (If only Val had swallowed her pride and just taken Gary back when he begged her to, lol).  But, unless you're Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick, you'll be at a loss over what to do with a mature, adult relationship like Greg and Laura's that is built on each being 100% aware of the other's flaws.  Greg sniffing around Paige?  If that had happened while Laura was still aware, she would've just smirked or rolled her eyes and moved on.
    • B&B has uploaded May 8th episode to cbs.com and paramountplus. I wonder if it will remain or be removed?
    • -- Off, indeed. I wrote my rant while watching the show. Then I heard Dante mention manslaughter and Danny in the same sentence. Just over-the-top ridiculousness. -- Is Brad written off for good? If so, what a lousy exit. -- Portia is looking sooooooo dumb these days. Just clueless as to how she's coming across.
    • As usual, Dani makes everything all about herself.   Sweetie.. this isn't about you.   I think deep down, the Dupree would be relieved if Dani wasn't around.
    • I watched it all. I was fine with her on both GH and on PC. But, what you describe for Llanview would've worked really well. I just think the whole concept of moving her from show to show was  in big trouble from the start. And, there were some specific blunders, like MAX, GMAB, she had no idea whether she'd had a boy or a girl and he was at least a decade older than any of the others.  I did very much like the idea that Myrtle was her mom.
