Not surprising, but I am surprised to hear he'll be seen in a few months. I wonder if it'll be a pre-tape thing like JJ or a proper (brief) return.

GH better hope the Sprina fans don't tune out lol 

On to bigger and better things. 

I'll be pleasantly surprised if PM gets to write for him at all upon what I'm sure will be his brief return.

I believe he’s still under contract to GH and just being let out to film this miniseries.

Yep he has a contract til late May-Early June

He is done filming Monsters Feb 16.

So he will be back at GH for at least THREE Months of taping 

However, his last day at the studio, recently, he made the rounds, spoke to everyone, said his farewells. My information - which is completely different from the official statements - is that Frank has done a masterful job with pretaping. He's gone. Period. But supposedly we won't even be able to tell that he's not there. Given the job they did last year with Laura & Kevin & Yuri in Russia, I can imagine this is one of Frank's magic tricks. 

It might be in his best interest to stick with GH until this miniseries works out. It’s Ryan Murphy so it’ll likely be a disaster.

Could be. WE will see. not doubting sources. However this isnt 20-30 years ago and Daytime is not razzed on as much. Maybe NAC is gone, Maybe he will film more. Maybe he could renew or exit 

Regardless we have a full time Spencer wheter is NAC or recast

 

 

 

I agree with @Lye-C

Yes take other jobs if allowed but to just jump because you got a ryan murphy show. Lots of actors on his shows and many do not work that regular. Just sayin.

It is my opinion that young actors should stay with their soaps longer than they sometimes do & also I feel that they don't have an appreciation of just how good they've got it & they may be in for a rude awakening. NAC may never again have the kind of attention that he's gotten between the fanatical Sprina fandom & the mainstream media attention, etc. And, I don't mean to be unfairly picking on NAC either.

No, the official length of his contract runs to summer. That doesn't mean he will definitely tape three more months or anything else.

Soaps regularly claim an actor will 'definitely' be back and filming a lot more when they get a serious out at the end of a contract to try and calm the audience. Remember when you insisted Trina #2 would definitely stay with the show just because GH said so? Most times they aren't back, or at least not for very long. We have no idea if Chavez will really tape much again, or if it is pre-tapes.

That could be true. I do see GH recasting if and when NAC departs
