🤣 I must be in the extreme minority of not being a Jonathan Jackson fan at all.

Darin would be a good lucky, no more a downgrade from GV but a step up from JY.

I enjoyed his youth Lucky & later I enjoyed him in NASHVILLE. I agree that he won't be back. I think Frank can find a Lucky if PM perhaps wants to try him out. Personally I agree that it would be nice to have a Lucky & a Lulu. 

I'd love to see the return of the Ward family. Somehow, some way. It needs to happen.

I would love that! And also I keep waiting for Keisha to reappear with a teen son in tow. 

Ratings went up again last week. People do not tune in and out of this show because of Sonny and Carly, because those two are on all the time. When the show uses Laura as the main character, ratings go up. The heavy focus given Laura right now is bringing viewers in.

You make a good point but I also think the show has benefitted from the primetime special and the JackieZ memorial week!

Lucky Spencer is not an easy role to (re-)cast.

He really isn’t. At heart you have to have the charm and swagger that being Luke’s son brings to things, but tempered by his deep sensitivity and heart from Laura. He also had a special chemistry with Elizabeth.

I don’t agree with all these posts that this is an easy role to recast. Frank brought us a Dillon that was completely wrong, and that recast was exactly the type of blank whiteness that Valentini has cast time and time again.

You want to bring back lapsed viewers? Jason Morgan isn’t the only piece of that puzzle. And Genie needs at least one of her kids to be recognizable immediately to that audience. That’s why I think this rebuild only works with JJ as Lucky and JMB as Lulu.

I thought he was dull on Nashville. I kept thinking he left GH for this?
