The best outcome here would be for Liam to finally turn dark now that Thomas is *good* and Finn is sainted. The problem: there isn't a logical romantic alternative on the show now. Liam is stuck between Steffy and Hope. Where's Amber when you need her!

or better yet write out Liam cause literally no one wants him with either lady or even remotely likes the character. I remember when soaps write out characters that just outlived their usefulness

@1974mdp Unfortunately, B&B's track record of incorporating and fleshing out new characters is abysmal. Case in point:

So Li's big secret over why she *really* hates/resents Poppy is that Li didn't carry a baby and Poppy did? That's it? C'mon, I thought for sure they'd take the easy route and make John Luna's father, giving Finn an on-canvas sibling. Hard to believe Finn has 4 siblings - none of which are mentioned. At a minimum, Diana and Mary are B&B kids.

I think he's consciously playing Liam as a villain.

Eric is *dying* and not one of his FIVE biological children has been a mainstay on canvas for years: Thorne, Kristen, Felicia, Rick and Bridget. You'd think when the Honeydrippers reunited, Marcus - Eric's adopted son would at least show up every now and then.

Further proof changing Ridge's paternity was a massive mistake that should've been quickly corrected via Sheila.

This! And I haven’t watched this show in years but I have felt that was a mistake, much like changing Lily’s paternity on Y&R. Things that never made sense to me.

Once the rest of the Marones were written out, they pretty much dropped the whole story point. They should at least MENTION Eric's other kids and if they're going to tell them. It's being played as if Ridge is his only child right now.

You would think Brooke would at least be concerned about how this impacts Rick and Bridget.

It is absurd and completely disrespecting this character that is LEGACY character. Eric should not be written out like this.

 

If this is a real exit for John McCook, it's a LOUSY storyline. If it's just a fake-out, it's still lousy.

I am so tired of seeing Eric couch and choke blood into a handkerchief, followed by useless, anguished Katie walking in the door.

At least RJ is looking like a snack.
